I recently spent three nights at Evolve Back Gham Dhao (January 2nd – 5th), and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the lodge exceeded every expectation.
Management & Atmosphere: A special thank you to Thelma, the Camp Manager, and her entire team. Their leadership and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident in every detail. The staff was incredibly attentive, professional, and warm, making us feel truly at home.
Hospitality & Comfort: The lodge was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained. The attention to detail in the accommodations provided a perfect, luxurious sanctuary in the rugged Kalahari landscape.
Dining: Every meal was a culinary delight. The quality, presentation, and flavors of the food were consistently world-class.
The Dream Team: What truly made this stay unforgettable was the duo of Fagasa (our guide) and Joey (our tracker). Their expertise, passion, and deep knowledge of the wilderness were astounding. Fagasa’s insightful explanations and Joey’s incredible tracking skills provided us with sightings and memories that will last a lifetime.
If you are looking for an authentic, high-end, and soul-stirring Botswana safari, I cannot recommend Gham Dhao highly enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

Great location. Super friendly staff who provided a warm welcome and farewell. Since there were only a few guests, they upgraded our rooms to exceptional ones. Excellent activities and dinner. Cozy fireplace at night. A fantastic experience. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Haina Kalahari Lodge. The host and staff are welcoming and helped to make our time in this paradise the most comfortable and relaxing. We even had some lions next to the camp! The tents are super comfortable and nice and the camp has everything you need and even more. The food was great and the we had a unbelievable brunch buffet next to the pool, just for us.
