You would be absolutely crazy to not stay here. We had the top suite and the view and location are incredible. This is a place that deserves at least a one night stay. This allows for the crowds to thin out.
They literally had everything. There was nothing not to love.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The view was breathtaking from the room and Jiufen Old street was literally outside the front door. I only wish I had enough time to spend another night.

Very nice room, just in on the old street. The whole place gives Japanese vibes somehow (no shoes inside, for example). The view is breathtaking. The rooms have small balconies where you can stay and enjoy the place even during the heavy rain. You get the feet wet but it is very nice anyway because it is so warm.

Nice view. Interesting layout. Bathtub (even if plastic).
Wobbly bathroom fixtures. Very low ceilings (such that my husband couldn’t stand up straight). Laminate flooring and counters. Terrible food at the hotel restaurant. Also terrible waitstaff.
