Романтично). Как в походе, только без палаток и костра.

Ради рисовых террас и невероятных природных красот нужно быть иногда готовым и к спартанским условиям. Учитывая труднодоступность, понятно, что бОльшие удобства могли бы быть доступны совсем за другие деньги. Цивилизация сюда еще не дошла. Ну и слава богу! Номер минималистичный: столик, крючки, полочка и кровать, полотенце (нам дали одно на двоих). Для многих филиппинцев - это мечта(((. Туалет есть свой, но о том, что ты в нем будут знать твои соседи и справа и слева. Смыв ковшом из ведра. Сидушка на унитазе отсутствует. Есть душ, но мы решили, что лучше искупаться на следующий день в водопаде. Водопад и вода в нем прекрасны. (Далеко в воду заходить не советуют. То ли ноги может свести от холодной воды, то ли камни сверху полететь). Виды из отеля прекрасные - и на террасы и на живописную деревеньку. Ужин в Batad Hillside был домашним и вкусным и не дорогим. Всегда есть доступ к термосу с кипятком, чаю, растворимому кофе и столовым приборам. Wi-fi можно купить у отеля. Может кому будет полезен наш опыт и способ, каким мы добрались до этого места. Делюсь! Большинство добираются до Батада автобусом из Манилы, который идет всю ночь. Мы же летели самолетом из Манилы в Cauayan City, Исабела. В день всего один рейс, в районе 9 утра. В Кауаяне мы арендовали авто в Isabela Car rental у главы проката, г-на DJ Marces. Главное аккуратно выехать из центра города, где движение, конечно не такое, как в Маниле, но все же активное и не всегда понятны правила. А потом по трассе и затем по живописному серпантину. Ехать без остановок часа 3. За городом берегитесь выскакивающих на дорогу собак и кур.. еще местные сыпят иногда на половину дороги кукурузу для просушки. Но в целом, дорога норм. По прибытию в Батад вас припаркуют что-то за 300 песо на ночь. Ночуете в Батаде, например в Batad Hillside. Рано встаете, смотрите террасы, идете на водопад, обедаете у кого-то местных. Они все гостеприимны. Мы например познакомились и отобедали у милой женщины Merlyn Chuccar.

В районе 15 выехали на авто обратно в Кауаян, где у нас был забронирован отличный отель The hotel Andrea, рекомендуем. Машину, кстати, пригнали к парковке аэропорта и забрали там же, что спасибо, очень удобно. Утром в 11 часов обратный рейс в Манилу. Он тоже один в сутки. К Batad Hillside: завтрак бы пораньше. Многие стартуют рано. Нам позавтракать не удалось из-за этого.

Vi kom for at få naturoplevelser og det levede stedet op til. Det var primitiv indkvartering på linje med alt andet derude. Forventet og fint. Vi havde eget bad og toilet.

A friendly staff. A breathtaking view.

Very basic room. Effort can be made, especially on comfort, cleanliness (except sheets and towels) and on private facilities (bathroom, windows). Ventilation holes without protection « grilles » thus leaving the pleasure to spiders to share the stay with us and we had the pleasure also to live this situation…). Given the location of the home, it should be essential to hermetically protect the bedroom and bathroom from the outside environment (eg a gap under the door of several centimeters, unblocked ventilation holes, etc.). However, this remains understandable given the location and the logistical difficulties that such work could require. On the right track though. If you are looking for a room without superficial comfort, the place will amply satisfy you.

Just book it.

Great staff, great food, super clean, and THE VIEW CAN NOT BE TOPPED! We had a private double room with a balcony. So worth it. I was anxious about communal bathrooms, but they were very clean.

Definitely worth it! Amazing view with friendly staff.

Amazing view and super friendly staff. Special shoutout to Jhaypee Bentican who assisted us all the time incl. food prep and as a tour guide, while doing the hike across the rice terraces. Definitely worth the experience.

Navigating on maps, waze and google maps was quite challenging. There is no service for your mobile device around the area, so it’s recommended to download an offline map before starting the whole trip. But as soon as you get to the place you’ll be amazed of the view and the friendly staff.

Amazing breakfast and dinner, fantastic tour guide that took us on two trekking tours. The view is beautiful and the rooms are as clean as they can be in a location like Batad.

Enjoy the view to the rice terraces.

The rooms are clean with a good view of rice terraces

Common toilet was never cleaned on a daily basis as well as the common sink. Other visitors you can hear their loud voices and steps at night when you are sleeping

Terrible !

On the first night, the electricity supply tripped in all three rooms we were supposed to stay . They don't know how to fix it and need to wait till next day to get an electrician. So , we requested to be transferred to other rooms. But They transferred us to other room but with no bathroom attached as the place is very small with limited rooms available. Common toilet is very dirty , looked like never clean for many days and can see the spider web around the corner. water from shower is extremely small. We were very disappointed with the place. we wont recommend it to other people.

Best view in Batad

Beautiful place with an incredible view. Staff is really friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. The view is absolutely beautiful, you can just chill there with a beer or a cup of coffee. There are also local guides in the village if you need help trekking around the Rice Terraces, going to the Viewpoint or the waterfall.

Exceptional

I was travelling solo and their single rooms had been fully booked so i got the family room with the best view all over Batad!

Minimal shower heaters 🤣🤣🤣 the water was icy cold!

Very good

Amazing views of the Batad Rice Terraces from our bedroom and from the restaurant. The place is great value for money. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Those steps though.. Going back to the pickup point with our heavy backpacks and uphill is not for the weak of heart,and knees, but we did it. (you can also hire someone to carry your luggage for you but where is the fun in that😏).
