The room is very bright; the French window opens on to a small balcony overlooking the roofs of Paris. The bed's mattress is very good; the building's façade has just been restored and the toilet on the stairway landing has been completely refurbished.

I loved my stay in the Little Room! It was all I needed for my solo trip and was in a truly fantastic area. There were two different train lines close by, the bus, many great restaurants, cafes, the Canal and green spaces, an outdoor market, and there is even a laundromat if needed! The location was prime and Marie-Charlotte was so kind! I am looking forward to my next stay!

Communications with Marie was excellent throughout the process, from the confirmation of the booking and leaving her nice little room in the heart Paris. She even waited for me when my arrival was delayed! While this is indeed a "nice little room", it has everything a solo traveler needs to be comfortable. Great shower, all you need in the kitchen to prepare meals and good Wi-Fi. The little balcony is an added bonus! Great value for the solo and budget minder traveler! If available, I hope to return on a future trip to Paris.

This place was functional and had all you would need but was very small. And....the bed was very uncomfortable. I was having serious hip pain from the bed being so hard. I almost had to leave and get another accomodation it was so bad! But this might not be a problem for others. The hostess was very kind and accomodating and the location was great! I would recommend it to other, younger guests who don't have joint issues. Plus, the photos show the bed folded up into a chair but it was in the bed position and I couldn't get it to work. Folded up it would have given you more space for day to day living.
