About this house rental
Totally private with a view second to none! House was built by owner of Hacker Craft Boats. All new electrical, plumbing, a/c and heat, flooring, etc. We have created a wonderful vacation home for enjoying Lake George. Located on 4 wooded acres and 1700 feet of shoreline on Green Island on Lake George. Green Island is home to The Sagamore Resort - walk to their restaurants or into the town of Bolton Landing. In addition to luxurious, yet comfortable accommodations, the property has two docks, one is perfect for swimming or sitting and looking at the spectacular views.
Designed with families in mind, the house has seven bedrooms and 7 1/2 baths. There are 3 master suites in the home. The first floor master suite has a queen size bed and bathroom with slate floors and countertops. There is a second bedroom nearby which has a bathtub/shower. On the other side of the first floor is a large bunk room with 6 twin size beds, a large walk-in closet, and a bathroom. Upstairs, there are two master suites with queen-size beds and adjoining sitting rooms. They both have en suite bathrooms with double sinks and showers. The large kitchen has two refrigerators/freezers, a gas cooktop, and a large dining table perfect for family meals. The oversized family room is a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake or watching TV.
Outdoors there is an outside deck that has a gas grill and a large picnic table which is great for outdoor dining.
The swim dock has Adirondack chairs for lounging and taking in the breathtaking views.
We include a dock slip that can accommodate a boat up to 40 feet.

Our family has spent many years of summer vacations on Lake George. We've tried every kind of lodging: camping; motels; hotels; resorts. This year, we decided to rent a home and we are really hit the jackpot with this property. It is secluded. You feel like like you have your own island on the lake. Yet, it is a convenient walk to Bolton Landing shops and restaurants and to the Sagamore spa and dining.
The house is spacious and well stocked. Everything was impeccable upon arrival. I loved having the ground floor bedroom suite for my elderly parents.
The owner was a delight to work with. We'll be back.

We had a great time at this great lake George home! The weather was perfect and I can not imagine a better location on the lake. This home is very private too which is such an added bonus as some areas on Lake George can be quite crowded. So nice that it is walking distance to Bolton Landing restaurants and stores. Food store is very close as well, which makes a big difference when feeding 18 people! The owners are absolutely wonderful to work with and, like they said it would be, the home was spotless. Also, we have never rented a home where linens come clean and already on the bed! Also, just having essentials already there like toilet paper and such is wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we usually try new places every year, but would absolutely entertain staying here again! Thanks again!

Stayed for a week at this lovely home on lake george, there is more than u can imagine to do and have a fantastic vacation there, eg: boating, swimming, biking, walking, touring, or just laying back and relaxing by the lake. The rooms are very accommodating and great for large families. The owners are very conscientious and make them selves easily available if you need to speak to them. I would and will go back again

We all had a fabulous family reunion at this amazing house! There were 20 of us ranging in age from 15 months to 77 years. The bedrooms are spacious; the bunk room was perfect for the boys and the large bedroom with the sitting room was perfect for the family with the baby. It was very convenient for us to be able to dock our boats at the boathouse. We spent most of our time on the water, fishing, tubing, water skiing, wake boarding and just cruising. We loved swimming from the dock and the raft was a lot of fun. It rained one day, but we all had fun playing cards, doing puzzles and playing games -- all provided by the owners. The Welcome Basket and the Guest Toiletries were a nice touch! The only negative we had was neither ice maker worked and the oven was very small. However, these things did not affect our wonderful time spent together.
