We stayed with our adult kids and two babies. We enjoyed the lazy river and pool. It was within walking distance to restaurants which was nice. The beach was beautiful. A few dislikes were the pull out couch was not comfortable for two adults. The floors were dirty and it wasn’t as clean as we would have expected. Overall we really enjoyed the week and had a great time. We would stay again. Great place for families with little ones.

The condo was perfect for our stay, we loved every bit of our vacation. The condo has the perfect location, it's very clean and spacious, we had 4 adults and 4 older kids, no one ever complained about the space it was perfect!

My family and I had the most wonderful vacation! The resort is absolutely amazing and our condo was perfect, it was fully stocked and it was so nice to have the stuff for the beach since we flew and couldn't bring our wagon. We can't wait to come back again, thanks for providing a perfect vacation spot for us! :)

David and the team were great to work with. Very responsive. Condo was awesome. Only negatives were the sleeper sofa did not work and the patio furniture was very corroded. Great view and complex. Condo is well appointed and has everything to make your stay pleasant. Highly recommended!

We decided to start our summer with a vacation! We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the condo AND the entire complex. Elevators were always fast, people are friendly, and there is so much to do!

Overall this property is amazing. Very well decorated and very clean. I gave 4 stars for overall because of what I believe to be ownership not worker bees. The property manager was amazing, the repair guy was awesome so this is not a ding on them. This unit needs a new refrigerator or a solid repair and based on our check-in documents, I'm sure the owner knows this. We had to keep everything in the freezer side which was somewhat cold because of the frost. Also as to the umbrella and chairs that they say are provided, either remove that in the listing or replace these and the broken down wagons that they're sitting in. This is salty air and these items need to be replaced regularly or pay the guy on the beach to have functional chairs and umbrellas. What's on the patio today is just garbage that's been collected and not functional for anyone to use. All that said, we had a great week and would stay in this complex again.

Extremely clean and comfortable unit. Loved the blackout curtains and the beds were extremely comfortable. Had to have a little repair done while there and it was handled immediately.

Beautiful condo
This was my first time staying at Destin West. It was beautiful the beaches and the bay were breathtaking. Our condo had everything you could possibly need. My son really loved the bunk room.The parking there was very easy which was a nice change from our previous vacation and there was plenty of carts for luggage.It makes checking in stress free.My family and I were very impressed.Would definitely love to come back next year.

Heron 606 was perfect for our family vacation! The condo was well stocked with linens, kitchen accessories and needs for the beach! It is easily accessible from the highway, quick access to many restaurants and has great views of the pools. The condo easily accommodated three adults and three children.

A Wonderful Get away Location
My wife and I stayed in this condo for the winter months. Very nice condo with a great view of the pools and the bay. Felt like home away from home. Plenty of dishes, cups and pots and pans. The condo was nicely kept up and clean. The beds were comfortable. Had plenty of space for when the family came down to visit. Having a washer and dryer located within condo is great advantage. The beautiful white beaches are just a 5-minute walk from the condo door. We would suggest staying in this condo to anyone.

My family stayed in Heron 606 at Destin West across the street from the beach. Good area, nice and clean condo. Had a few mechanical issues. A little inconvenient to go to the beach and drag chairs and beach accessories across the walkway. Would have been nice if the condo had two beach chairs included in the rental. Our 3 BR condo had gorgeous views, plenty of space, and was convenient to anything and everything we wanted.

Last minute get away
Wen loved the amenities of the property as well we how well stocked the condo was. We were able to cook and prepare meals without any worries as to not having the right tools. The condo is beautiful and just as pictured.

Destin getaway
We were very impressed with the size of the property. All the rooms were very spacious. We loved the access to the pools and lazy river, which we used every day! The property is just a short walk to the beautiful, soft-sand Gulf beach! And we enjoyed many meals on the patio overlooking the pools.

Beautiful, well maintained condo! The lazy river was an added bonus! Check in was easy and there was a lot of attention to the details- beach chairs/toys, coolers, beach cart .. . They have thought of everything! Great way to shake off the stay at home blues!

We love Destin West
Everything was beautiful & location was great. We love the Heron building & this unit is right in the middle of it. We flew this year so we didn’t bring extra blankets. My only suggestion is to bring blankets from home so everyone is comfortable at night.

Loads of beachy fun!
Our stay at in Heron 606 at Destin West was fantastic. The condo was beautifully appointed and filled with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were fantastic, and kitchen had most imaginable needs. Condo also came with beach chairs, umbrellas, cart, wagon and plenty of beach toys for little ones. While facility was very busy the week of our stay, we never had issues with parking, pool chairs or waiting for elevators. Pools and other public spaces were clean and, while busy, we never felt crowded. David and his team at Coastal Vibe Vacations were very welcoming and incredibly responsive before and during our stay. We will definitely be return guests!

Very, very easy to check in and out. The directions, instructions, dining and activity pages sent before arriving were awesome.
Beds and linens very comfortable.
Very easy to contact David with questions. He was very responsive.
Lazy river is so much fun and the pool was very nice.
Negatives
Kitchen was dirty upon arrival and was kinda gross
Master bath shower way too much mold in it and some mold on ceiling.
Deck was kind of dirty and the cooler was really gross
Guest bathroom toilet ran constantly and needs fixing.
Some of the pots and pans are caked with grease and they just need to be replaced.
Overall, some of the things that needed to be fixed probably weren’t reported so i don’t blame the owner and it wasn’t that big of a deal. The cleanliness part of the kitchen and master bath were the only two things that were unacceptable and shouldn’t happen. This is a nice place to stay but the overall cleanliness would dissuade me from returning to this particular unit.
