Located in front of the fort of Cascais and a few minutes walk from the Marina, the apartment has a 24-hour concierge and parking
Small circular bus (Buscas) with stop right in front takes you to the station of the Railway Line of Cascais - the trip to Lisbon is about 40 minutes. From the apartment to the station on foot takes about 10 minutes.
The center of Cascais has many good restaurants and cafes.
Rental price for short stays (minimum 4/5 days):
In the high season months: June, July, August and September
95 euros per day
Christmas and New Year: 95 euros per day
In the off season months: January, February, March, April and May, October, November: 70 euros per day
At the time of booking, a deposit of 40% of the amount of the stay in the account of the owner in Portugal is required and the remainder 30 days before check in
The apartment is legalized as local accommodation before the Portuguese authorities. Guests should therefore provide their full name passport numbers for information on their stay.
2019: Work is being carried out at the entrance of the building, so there is a possibility of some noise during the working days, in principle until September 2019.

Positives: This property is in an amazing location, within walking distance to everything the town has to offer — restaurants, shops, markets, a large grocery store, laundromat, attractions . We spent two weeks there without a car, and only had to call an uber once when we bought too many groceries! Marcia, the host, was accessible and very helpful. EVERYONE on site (neighbors, concierge) was incredibly friendly. The unit has shades that black out the day for a great night’s sleep. This trip was very enjoyable.I can’t speak to the washing machine, because we didn’t use it. We carried our laundry out in two small cases and did it at a spot beside a great Asian restaurant that serves wonderful ginger tea. It was walkable without hills and delicious. I never did get the cooktop to work, but I’ve never used induction heat. The oven and microwave were fine. They could use a new coffee machine. The living room furniture is a little tired, and the bathroom could use a bit of work. But the value for the price paid is enormous. We loved it.

A very elegant, well equipped, garden level apartment in a perfect location to visit Cascais. This apartment is in a beautiful building located between the cultural centre building and a very picturesque park. Parking is available in a gated area on the property and the building has a 24-hour concierge. The marina, bars, restaurants, shopping and the old town are a short walking distance away. Marcia, the property manager, met us at the apartment at a pre-arranged timed. She also responded quickly through the VRBO app when we had questions. Thank you, Marcia. As an added bonus, the apartment has a large, private patio which is accessible from both the great room and the bedroom and overlooks the large, beautifully landscaped gardens and a pool.The rooms are very spacious except for the kitchen which was of no concern as it was clean, modern, bright and super efficient. The bathroom could use some updating but it did have a marble vanity, double sinks with a large walk-in shower with great water pressure (and hot!). Our only suggestions were that the bed pillows and sheets could use a refresh. Also, we found the sofas were a little dated and lower than what we are used to.We would definitely rent this apartment again. Sharron & Mike (Niagara Region, Canada)
