decent and comfy for a quick getaway

the property is in an excellent location and had really good water pressure.

but the room I stayed in had some worn out floor boards and peeling wallpapers.

Not the same since my last stay there in 2019

Location

No Wi-Fi connection and Card Payments machine failure due to network issues was happening too frequently. I was also made aware that the management had associated my solo booking with another family booking (Emmanuel Amadi) which I had no link to outside the fact that I knew the family in passing.

AS A BUSINESS MAN & INVESTOR I ADVISE THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT TO DO NEEDFUL UPGRADE TO FRESHEN THE ROOMS & THEY’LL

PROPERTY LOCATION & DESIGN CONCEPT IS VERY GOOD.

THE FACILITY IS VERY POORLY MAINTAINED- THE CONSTRUCTION IS GOOD BUT THE MAINTENANCE STANDARD IS VERY POOR- IT HAS STAINED & DIRTY WALLS WITH MOULDS. I SAW TINY COAKROACHES STROLLING IN THE ROOM.

Reception staff were positively great

It's appears there is a disconnect between booking on line and booking at the front desk. My booking via booking.com could not easily be tracked by the front desk folks

NOT A PLEASANT STAY

I took my time before writing this review to allow enough time to pass so that I can properly articulate my thoughts and not write from a place of negative emotions. From my experience, this hotel is simply running on reputation and is in serious need of an overhaul. To mention a few of the issues faced: 1. When I arrived I had to ask for a change of room because the room assigned to me was poorly maintained, had water marks on the wall, torn wall paper, etc. and the bed was directly facing the worst of the problem areas. I was changed to a room that was a little less poorly maintained and the only reason I was able to manage it was because the bed was no longer facing the water marked and torn walls, so they were not always directly in my line of sight 2. The second and last meal I ordered over my 5 night stay had a metal bolt in it...I noticed it as I was about to take a bite. I escalated to the restaurant and they were not sure how it got there but thought it may have come from the machine used to blend the pepper used to make the food. A replacement meal was brought but I never ordered from them again 3. Toiletries like soap were only replaced when they finished, not daily. Plus on one occasion, a cleaning lady came to the room by 10am to ask if we were ready for the room to be cleaned and we said yes. We finally had to call around 3pm to ask for cleaning service and when she returned she said she had been held up downstairs and that we need to call them again to schedule an evening cleaning 4. The room I ended up staying in was directly under the outdoor lounge area of the hotel; which meant that from 6pm to 6am daily I was treated to loud music that made sleeping difficult In summary, it was one of my worst hotel experiences in a very long time

Terribly Poor service

The property was good but so disappointed with the service received. I arrived the location after booking from Booking.com, they said my reservation was given to someone else. This was after I arrived from the airport, very exhausted and tired. Then they kept me at the lobby for almost an hour trying to fix an alternative. They ended up getting one but the booking manager told me that the door wasn’t functional. I had to always ask for the staff to come with me to open the door with a masters key. Secondly, they shower wasn’t in good condition. The TV didn’t work the first night.I felt terrible when the manager said someone will come to fix the doors(so unprofessional). The swimming pool was so dirty and not ready for use. Got to the bar, ordered fruit juice with my guests but the bar tender forgot our order! Typical!!!!! There was constant noise and disturbances from adjacent rooms due to repairs and works. There was also also so much delay in response to the requests I made from the restaurant without any explanation and also lots of forgetfulness in the requests I’ve made. Summary: I had a nasty experience!!! Never going to recommend for anyone!
