I stayed in the exact same room i booked for, just as shown in the pictures.
The pillows… too stiff, not so comfortable. Also need to install an electric flying insect trap at the main reception.

My 1st night was very disappointing re room 403 was suitable
The bathtub and sink were blocked
Difficult getting into the bath
The wall appear to be ripping and unable to use the plug re health and safety issues.
I was moved to my standard room with shower but shower was not working
Blocked bathtub and sink
Difficult climbing in and out of the bath
The wall plug appears to be ripping off the wall hence health and safety issues

I missed my flight to Abuja, so I came back to this hotel and once again, the experience was great.

Hotel staff are the real assets at this hotel, friendly approachable and very apologetic about the many faults at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast options varied and cooked well. Although you had to go to breakfast early to get hot food.... anytime after 10am and the food was lukewarm.
The wifi did not work when the tv was off.... the water frequently refused to heat up and I had to make do with cold showers.
1 towel was provided in the bathroom and no bath mat, increasing the risk of a slip and/or fall stepping out of the bath. The bathroom hadn't had a deep clean in years and there was ingrained dirt around the bath edges
The plates and glasses in the restaurant were chipped with water marks, clearly old and in need of replacement.
The hotel refused to accept the price quoted by booking.com insisting that it was "too low" and insisted on an extra ÂŁ200+ or I would have to find alternative accommodation. I will be raising a separate complaint about this.
