Situated in Totnes, this attractive house for $106 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Come and relax and feel at home in our cosy house with everything you need on the doorstep. We are in Totnes near the castle VERY REASONABLE AND FAIR RATES FOR TOTNES. The owners continue to carry out an appropriate thorough clean. (Covid) BOOKINGS Owners prefer Saturday to Saturday bookings but are happy to discuss other options preferably out of HIGH SEASON. When booked through VRBO, the owners will personally contact you to check your needs and provide you with friendly , helpful information on provision and arrival arrangements. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION Leechwell House is a 200 year old, typical Totnes town house, which has been renovated to a high standard. It is located within a couple of minutes walk from the high street. The house sleeps 5 and comprises: • Two spacious double bedrooms (double beds) Cosy alcove areas. • One single bedroom • Ground floor cosy living room with log burner and TV/DVD player- low ceiling (6'2 to 6'4) * Free Wi-Fi • 1st floor kitchen with table for dining. Well equipped with cooker, hob, microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment. Everything you need. • Bathroom with bath/shower/sink and toilet • Second toilet with hand basin • Backyard with outhouse containing free logs, washing machine and dryer • Gas central heating - metered gas / electricity (Not costly if instructions followed) • Bed linen & towels provided Every room is well equipped * Public parking 2 minutes away * No pets, no smokers * Please note that this is a three storey property with narrow winding stairs - so may not be suitable for people with mobility concerns

It was beautifully clean and have all the essentials you need, so unusual for a holiday rental.

Very clean accommodation and good communication with the owner. As stated, the stairs are steep and were a bit of a challenge for our group of 70+ year olds! Totnes is a great place to visit and this cottage is an ideal base.

Lovely place to stay
We had a great time staying in this lovely house. Gail was a great communicator, and would always anwer any e-mail promptly. The house is in a great location, very central in Totnes, and great for travelling around Devon. The house was very clean and very well equipped. We would definately recommend it.

3 Storie Property in Totnes full of character
A delightful property situated in the heart of Totnes at the top of the hill. Well equipped & very clean. The owners have gone to a great deal of trouble to make your stay a comfortable one. Great friendly communication too with well organized instructions throughout the house. Loved the log fire to create a cosy warm atmosphere in these October evenings. Lovely comfortable beds too. Would stay here again. Thanks Gail, we loved staying here.

Well appointed, pretty cottage in heart of Totnes
Clean, neat and tidy property. Well equipped kitchen with instructions for use of electric items (ie: oven). All amenities close by and a very short walk into town with bars/restaurants/shops. Would recommend this property to family, friends, etc as a lovely place to stay for a break.

Brilliant stay 2 adults 2 children. Great location with pubs and restaurants all around us and high street 2 mins walk around the corner. House was very clean and comfortable and our hosts were very helpful with info and instructions. Nice bottle of wine on arrival nice touch also. Will definately be returning !

We had a great time at Leechwell House. The house had everything we needed. It was clean and beautifully presented but comfortable too. We felt as though we were staying in a little bit of Totnes’ history. The house is convenient for Totnes town with its quirky shops, good restaurants and walks by the river. Parking was no problem but next time we thought we might come by train as we hardly used the car - there was so much to do within a short walk.

We had a wonderful stay in a great town. The house is lovely - cosy, really well equipped, spotlessly clean - and Gail couldn't have been more helpful. We're really looking forward to a return visit in 2021.

Wonderful stay in this lovely house!
Spent a wonderful 2 weeks in this lovely house. A beautifully decorated and equipped place to stay, lots of thoughtful touches. Wonderfully close to the town, fabulous places to eat and drink and enjoyed the Christmas market and great vibe in Totnes. Thoroughly recommend a visit to the cinema, a truly different experience!

Beautiful house, fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, with easy access to a beautiful little bustling town. Plenty of car parks within a few minutes walk of the house and loads of gorgeous beaches within 20-30 minutes drive. Absolutely perfect!

Wonderful cottage
Leechwell house is a lovely, beautifully kept cottage in a fantastic location in the centre of Totnes. The cottage is well equipped with everything needed for a holiday stay. The owners are wonderfully helpful and informative. We had a fantastic, relaxing stay here and will definitely be coming back sometime soon.

Lovely Quirky Cottage In An Ideal Location..
booked a weeks stay to visit family in Plymouth , We used to live in Brixham so know Totnes well revisited lots of old haunts and met up with old friends , we found the cottage had everything you could need and more a nice touch was a bottle of wine left for our arrival plus milk in the fridge . Gail gave lots of information and was very communicative - we would love to stay again.

Pristine property with everything you need to make you feel at home!
Great property in the heart of Totnes made for a great base from which we could explore south Devon. Really nicely decorated and furnished with lots of thoughtful extras (like washing up liquid, tea towels and salt-we always forget to take). Only gripe I guess is the parking, bought a weekly parking permit but inadvertently parked on the wrong car park for two days and got two tickets as a result :'-( Otherwise
We had a great family week away and would highly recommend it!!! :-D

Lovely house in a lovely town in a great location. Centrally located easy access to shops.
Spent a week in Totnes which is well located for trips to the beach and seaside towns e.g. Brigham and Dartmouth. Beautiful coastal scenery on the road from Slapton to Dartmouth. Beesands was a lovely quiet spot for a walk and my kids enjoyed kite flying there. I recommend Woods Bistro for lunch which is close to the lovely house we stayed in.
The house is over 3 floors and is well equipped with lots of information supplied. The rooms are of a good size and well decorated. A short distance from the lovely high street which had loads of independent shops and a must for craft and jewellery enthusiasts.
