Da würde ich jederzeit wieder einchecken

Das Frühstück war super.Es fehlte an nichts. Das Zimmer gemütlich und das Bett super.Für meine Zwecke war die Lage optimal.

Super Adresse in Bayreuth

Die perfekte Adresse für den Besuch der Bayreuther Festspiele. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral und daher nicht direkt in der Nähe des grünen Hügels gelegen. Durch den praktischen Shuttle (rechtzeitig buchen!) kommt man aber super schnell und stressfrei hin. Das freundliche Personal und gute Ausstattung machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Bis auf das geschlossene Restaurant war alles top!!!

Die Lage war suuuper und das Frühstück und vor allem ab 07:00h, lassen keinerlei Wünsche offen!!! Einfach umwerfend!!!

Das Bett war etwas unbequem und das Kissen schlecht. Ich bevorzuge ein Kissen 40 x 80cm Leider war das Restaurant nicht geöffnet!

Would not repeat ot recommend.

Location was nice.

Very smelly and hot room, as well as the whole 1st floor where we were staying. Central air-conditioning working so bad that it was almost like not having it. Uncomfortable beds. Staff not very interested in asking questions or making themselves useful.

Fairly modern well organised hotel, with convenient parking and close to centre.

Easy walking distance to centre, easy parking, modern furnishing, generous breakfast.

A little bland (ie. not much character). Nice grand piano in lobby - but apparently never played.

Good hotel for stop in a way to skii holiday in Alps.

Good enough breakfast. Not so far from motorway. Reception working 24 hour !!!

Great value for a convenient and pleasant stay in downtown Bayreuth.

Great location in the center of town, very nice breakfast buffet, helpful and pleasant staff.

Nice hotel with good value for mobey

Situated close to the old city centre. Nice and friendly atmosphere.

Matrass was too hard for our liking. I did not sleep very well.

A lovely hotel with great location to the old town

luxurious foyer and Initial appearance. Spotless room and good location to the old town.

A kettle and fridge in the room would have been appreciated.

A wonderful accommodation for the Bayreuth Festival guests.

It was my second time staying there for the Bayreuth festival and it was wonderful yet again. Good rooms, good facilities, fabulous service to get to the theatre and back. I’m going back again next year!

Nice hotel with great staff and breakfast … but it is time to act

I visited the hotel 3 times in the last 4 years. Clean, great staff. Very good breakfast. shuttle service to the Festspielhaus is taken care of (at cost) Rheingold is always my first choice.

Hotel is great…. but … it is getting a little bit outdated. What was great in 2018, is fine in 2022. It is time to plan to bring the hotel to the new standards.

Excellent hotel for those attending Bayreuth Wagner festival

Well placed in central location but away from the crowds

Limited restaurant menu in the evening and the restaurant was not open at all on the evenings There was no festival production on. We couldn’t work out if this would still be the case out with Wagner festival dates or not.

Underwhelming

Good sauna, good location for the Festspiele

The place needs renovating. Disappointed not to have tea/coffee making facilities or even an iron in the room. The hairdryer didn’t work properly.

The Rheingold Hotel was more or less as good as usual this time .

We stay at the Rheingold Hotel whenever we come to the Wagner Festival ( 6 times ). We like the style of the hotel and the assistance of the staff . The Sri Lankan manager of Richards bar is especially good and appreciated by us and other guests . We enjoyed the cold plate and drinks which we had in Richards ( outside on the terrance ) after the opera .

On our first morning we came down latish ( 9.30 am ) for breakfast . The restaurant was chaotic and staff were in total disarray . After waiting for 15 minutes I had to clear the table myself of the dirty plates and cups used by the previous guests - I took three journeys to the kitchen to do this and no one there acknowledged me or showed any interest in why I needed to be delivering crockery and cutlery myself . It then took another ten minutes before I could get one of the waitresses to bring me coffee - and even then I had to go to the buffet and pour myself a glass of milk for the coffee because no one brought a jug of milk to our table - dreadful service . Then amazingly on the second morning of our stay when we came down to breakfast at around 8.30 am all was perfect as usual , the staff we happy and attentive and everything was delivered helpfully in good order .
