Loved the amenities kayaks, bikes, pool. Ticklers had great seafood and loved sitting outdoors by the water.
No complaints. I thought the property was lovely.

This is a beautiful historic property recently renovated in a coastal/nautical look. It's a really nice getaway for a couple but I could also see a family reunion or wedding here being fun. Reception staff and staff in general were super friendly and helpful. Lots of activities- sauna, nice pool, bikes, kayaks, bocce. Lot's of guests out and about taking advantage of the scenic location and activities. There are great little seating areas outside to enjoy the weather and views of the water- some in covered breezeways where we sat and enjoyed watching a crazy thunderstorm. Nice touches in the room like soft robes, and little throws that you can bring outside with you to the beach or sauna or something. A black towel in the bathroom for when you wash your makeup off- just a few little things like that that are thoughtful extras. Its pet friendly so there were lots of dogs there which I like and the food and drinks at Ticklers were good. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were a nice addition because there's not too much else around.
The room was a Queen "suite" with a water view. It was a very small room and very small bathroom. It did have a little area for a little table and two chairs which we definitely appreciated and put to good use and were happy to have. Nicely decorated, very comfortable just small. There are lots of stairs and uneven surfaces so navigating this property could be a challenge for some people- I'm thinking like my elderly Mom with a walker wouldn't do real well there. Also, there's no fridge or microwave so if you need to keep meds or milk cold for your baby it could be a problem. Don't plan on keeping leftovers from dinner. We had a cooler with us so we kept a few drinks cold in the room but for a longer stay it would be an issue for me. Also, I did find the room a bit spendy for what it actually was. Also note, this is out at the end of a quiet little island on the Eastern Shore and there's not much around. Bring any snacks, drinks, supplies you may need for your stay. It'll be a trip if you need to get anything while you're here.

Overall quiet, comfortable room. We had a partial view, and the overall layout of the property was very inviting. We also stayed a Sunday-Wed 3 night stay.
The lack of dining options. I don’t know if it’s an all year thing or if we were a week early but the Wed-Sunday openings are most likely the reason people stay more towards the St. Michaels area. The opportunity is there, it just needs to be taken.

The facilities were nice and I am sure great fun with sunnier weather. I feel like the room charge was way overpriced even for a holiday weekend.
I thought the room was small, no closet, tiny sink and outdated bathroom (for the price per night) The water smelt of sulfur and was hard to shower in. Room did not warrant the cost per night. The food was also not the caliber one would expect at this being called a resort and a again for the cost per/night.
