We loved the Philoxenia Hotel. Our room was large and comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well, the receptionist was very helpful and kind above standard, the location of our hotel was well situated. We also received free maps and food tips.

The location was excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful. We weren’t expecting to be able to check-in on arrival but our rooms were ready which was a bonus.
The hotel is very dated; it’s generally quite tired & facilities need some TLC. Housekeeping were great and rooms were kept clean daily, but there’s an overall quiet fusty smell which wasn’t the most pleasant. There is little to no soundproofing and other guests in the hotel kept us awake.
