Location in Black5Forest and views were magnificent. Excellent food in beautiful outside setting by mountain stream. Free secure parking.

I loved the location. The establishment felt more like a destination hotel. The restaurant and the lounge were particularly nice.
My room was on the top floor. Which I knew in advance. No lift. Which I also knew in advance. Managed to climb the stairs with my huge suitcase. So no big deal. I found out, only the day before my arrival, that the restaurant would not open the night of my stay. Which was a bit disappointing. But the staff prepared a simple meal which I enjoyed in the lovely dinning-room.
