Superb location, right on the central Market Square with views on the castle, lovely stylish rooms, superfriendly staff, parking at the back, good breakfast selection and a really nice bar section that had live music while I was there in the evening

Location and car park
Too many stairs. Mouldy bread at breakfast. Tables not always set for breakfast. Cooked food was good, but service not good. Tea jug was finished and not replaced. Altogether a rather haphazard affair. Room cleaning wasn’t great. Cobwebs on the ceiling, bath had hairs, bathroom floor never got washed. Towels were stained and ripped. Toiletries not always replaced.
