It’s in a beautiful rural area. The cottages are cosy and the beds were comfortable. The host offered us a room in the house as it was raining.
It’s a bit off the ring road.

We booked this charming, farmcore room, especially for the famed cooking skills of Niels, the owner. And were not disappointed, the lamb and cod cooked to perfection in a lovely setting. Parking right in front of your own entrance and plenty of space inside.

not much although it was clean and the beds were comfortable enough
it is not clear from the website / review comments that some rooms are in the main house (which seem like they have decent facilities) but others are basically just sheds with heating and electricity. The “shared kitchen and bathroom facilities” for these are just other sheds which you have to walk outside to. The kitchen shed had hardly any utensils/crockery/pans, only a small 2 ring stove, a fridge which was unplugged and had no available socket to plug in and nowhere to sit and eat. Wi-Fi signal was 1 bar at best and constantly dropped out completely. The room/shed itself was warm and comfortable and clean but was very small. it had just enough space for twin beds with a small gap between and a small amount of floor space at the end. we stayed at 10 different places during our 18 day trip to Iceland all around the same price 85-100 euros per night and this was by far the smallest and fewest facilities - overall well overpriced for what was essentially a camping cabin.
