Situated in Laugharne, this attractive house for $316 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Arosfa is a spacious 4 bedroom house located in the heart of Laugharne. Ground floor - large kitchen diner that leads on to a spacious living room. First floor - 1 x double with en-suite bathroom, 1 x double, 1 single and a family sized bathroom Second Floor - Twin Bedroom with en-suite, Outside is a paved tiered garden, perfect for BBQs but if you'd prefer to go out and meet some of the locals then it is close to the New Three Mariners pub and Browns Hotel - famed for being the place the poet Dylan Thomas chose to have a drink. Although Laugharne itself is very picturesque and has everything you need for a stay, the town is ideally situated for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire is only a short drive away with the pretty seaside town of Tenby a 20 minute drive away. Laugharne itself is on an Estuary. The nearest beach with facilities is Pendine, a short 7 min drive. There are cafes, shops and pubs here and at low tide a huge expanse of sand with lots of rock pools to explore if you go around the headland. Being so central to Laugharne the location is ideal for most. There are the odd night when the proximity of the Mariners can be heard at the weekend. For most it is not an issue.

This is the second time we have stayed at Arosfa, the house meets all our needs and the whole family enjoys staying there. It is a perfect base from which to explore the area and visit the superb nearby beaches. We forgot some swim wear in the washing machine and the owners could not have been more helpful and posted it on to us.

Great house, lots of space, secure garden for the dogs. Jenny was quick to reply, flexible and no long list of rules for the house, which meant we felt very relaxed! Laugharne is gorgeous. Definitely recommend The Ferryman deli for Spanish groceries, tapas and amazing coffee and cakes! We’ll absolutely be back - thanks Jenny!

Fantastic house, very spacious and easy check-in.
Great location for exploring Laugharne and other nearby towns. There was noise from the pub on the corner daily until late but it didn’t deter our stay. We would definitely return to this house.

Spacious property in fabulous village. We had a great time but there are a couple of things that would make it much better.
House let down by outside space. Garden table and chairs very tatty/broken. No umbrella or natural shade unless you want to sit by the bins under the washing line. An umbrella would have been great.
Inside, the upstairs bedroom had not been usable for the last two nights due to the extreme heat, we appreciate this weather is abnormal.
The pub and hotel beer garden did produce some noise all week but this was OK. Friday night was karaoke night. Not sure if this is a regular feature or not. Noise was terrible kept us all up till after 1 am.

This was a great home to say to explore the beautiful coastal walks of Carmarthenshire. Visits to all areas easy to get to from here.

Fantastic location and big house!!!
I can highly recommend this place for families, house is massive with 3 bathrooms we spent fantastic time together thank you guy for all help with booking and after booking as well. We definitely come back again for longer this time 😊😊

This property was absolutely superb. Had everything we needed and so much space. It was spotlessly clean and the box of toys kept my children quiet for ages! The location was fab for short walks to the centre of the village. I would highly recommend this place and can’t wait until we get to stay again. The beds, bed linen and towels were clean and comfortable, there were plenty of sockets for charging phones etc. and ample dishes, glasses and cutlery. Comfy sofas if a little low for us older folk to get up from! Bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch too, thank you.The reason I did not give this a 5* was because it had not been cleaned properly, bath was dirty and bathrooms in general need a good clean, few cobwebs here and there and kitchen surfaces and microwave were not particularly clean. All of this has been brought to the attention of the owners who were very apologetic and informed me that we were the first guests since lockdown restrictions were lifted and that they would ensure a thorough clean throughout.Having said that I would happily return and probably will in the near future.

Fantastic property for a much needed break. House is a perfect size and full of amenities that you need (may need to bring an extra loo roll but that’s not a criticism). Location is wonderful, down the road from the castle and convenient shops. Would come again.

Lots of extra homely touches added to the great experience. 2 grandchildren aged 9 and 13 were delighted with their twin room with ensuite at the top of the house. We had a double ensuite to the back of the property. My son and his fiancee had a double to the front and youngest grandson had a single next to his Mum and Dad and they had their own bathroom. Nice large living room and kitchen. House was spacious so that we weren't tripping over each other but plenty big enough when we were spending time together, be it inside the house or out in the sunny garden. Although we didn't use it there was a barbeque too, some toys and even a bucket and spade for the beach.Everything is within walking distance be it pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes and beautiful scenic walks. We highly recommend for a great family holiday experience. Thank you Jenny and David, we can tell a lot of thought has gone into making this property a lovely experience for your guests.

Short sunny break
A fantastic property in a beautiful location. There was plenty of room for the 7 of us, and having three bathrooms is ideal.
The large kitchen diner was perfect for sitting and chatting in the evening with the French doors open. Comfy beds and plenty of storage.
Laugharne is beautiful and quiet, and ideally located for the beaches of Pembrokeshire in one direction and Carmarthenshire in the other. Already planning our next visit.

Have just returned after a a few lovely days in Laugharne with our children (1, 6 & 15)
The house is perfectly situated within walking distance to shops & cafes & is well equipped with everything you would need, even plenty of toys & buckets & spades! We were so lucky to have the gorgeous sunshine too! The owners have been so helpful throughout our stay and we will definitely be returning!

Our second time of staying here and we returned because we knew it would cater for our needs for a short break in South Wales. It’s especially conveniently located within the village with everything in walking distance.

Spent a weekend here during storm Dennis - very central in Laugharne- lots of local restaurants and dog friendly pubs - good walks and short drive to beaches - very well equipped cottage with log burner and plenty of space - we had a great time thank you!
