It was clean and the front of house staff were very helpful - with a special mention to the front of house manager who was superb and incredibly helpful
At the pool we were told not to use certain chairs or equipment as it was for the hotel owners daughter - we were paying guests, so this seemed underwhelming..

Very nice and comfortable room. Spacious, good beds. Calm and nice pool area. Good service at the pool bar. A huge breakfast. Beautiful hotel in general.
BUT not the 5-star service you would expect. Dirty fruit dishes left in the room for 2 days. Hair not cleaned in the bathroom. One glass in the minibar broken, found a dirty glass in the bathroom. Details like we having to call the staff to make the bed for the kids which I expect to be done without me reminding in a 5-star hotel. Last but not least, the AC stopped working during the night.

The cation is vey comfortable. the hotel is 5 minutes walk from the old city the beach and a line of restaurants
the maintenance in the hotel is very poor. the sink was unattached, the marble was broken etc. the main issue was that the air-condition wasn't working. needed to sleep with an open window and due to noise from the street didn't sleep.....
that is not expected in such a place.....
