This is the most time I’m ever gonna take for a review: the host is THE sweetest nicest person we have ever met!
He made it cheaper for us even thow we already payed with booking.
He was always smiling and asking how we were. If he saw us confused or anything he immediately started to help out even offering we can lend his private bike - all in all he was the sole reason we were so sad to leave
Literally nothing - apart from the property we were unlucky with rainy season and because the ferry to langkawi only starts again in October

Excellent location, in the middle of everything. Comfortable beds, even with no air con, for me the fan was fine, nice showers and convenient common areas with coffee and tea for free. Booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 8.

Very comfortable bed, I had the best sleeps! Nui was very sweet, the common area was cute and it provided tea and coffee. Great location, easily walkable to restaurants and beaches. It was nice and quiet with only a few other travellers which was perfect. I suspect it would be very crowded in high season. The cats are so sweet too!

Centrally located, though obviously the island is not that big. Free coffee and water and small snacks (love those coconut pineapple cookies!). Every bed gets its own fan and curtains. The common area is small, but functional, and nice for a peaceful coffee in the morning. We were able to get a clean load of laundry back within 24 hours. It's one of the cheaper places to stay on the island.
We made the mistake of booking a non-AC room and regretted it. The room got very hot, even with a personal fan blowing directly on me all night long. I could feel the springs in the mattress as well. The guests in the room were respectful and quiet, but there is a bar nearby that has extremely powerful bass and I could feel the vibrations until late, even though I was wearing headphones. I was not able to sleep properly for my entire stay.
