Amazing place

Absolutely loved the setting of the hotel. It is by a river and full of plants, water features and lots of antiques. Everywhere you look there is something new to see. The room was big. The pool was lovely, a good size in a nice setting. There were comfy seats by the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, including helping us with a lift to the train station. The breakfast was a buffet and had a reasonable selection. The restaurant on site had a couple of vegetarian options. I loved the mango sticky rice. It was handy to have it there as it is a walk out of town. Good air con in the room

I would have liked a softer mattress. Not a negative but to note the terraces by the rooms is currently out of action but there are so many other places to sit by the river.

ein Erlebnis!

Einzigartiges Hotel mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail (Deko). Der Besitzer sammelt seit Kindertagen westliche Objekte, von den Blues Brothers in Lebensgröße zu Biermarkenleuchten, Mühlrädern usw. Das Restaurant ist auf der andern Flussseite, über eine Brücke zu erreichen und bietet leckere Speisen. Die Zimmer sind groß und die Betten gut. Weiläufig, aber wenige Zimmer.

Die Bänke wurden gelb gestrichen ohne daß ein Schild darauf aufmerksam machte, so dass ich beim nächsten Carneval als Tiger gehen kann… Eine nette Dame hat das Gröbste aber wieder abbekommen.

Excellent stay at Ban Mai, highly recommended

Ban Mai is not a hotel, its an amazing resort. Its a mini world in itself. Thoroughly enjoyable either for friends or family. We were 9 friends, we loved staying for 2 days at Ban Mai, Highly recommendded

Swimming pool is really good, could have been bit more longer.

Amazing Vintage Hotel & Museum. Highly recommended when in Pak Chong

The Room, standard room was nice and spacious, with backdoor to large veranda. But after one night we changed to a bungalow, with a lot more space and built in balcony wich overlooked the river. The hotel is very special, and amazing with hundreds of statues, pots, plants, signs and much much more, around a nice cooling swimming pool in the middle. Everywhere you go you find new things to see, new places to sit and chill out to the very soothing music coming from speakers. Nice breakfast in an unbelievable environment, wich you reach by crossing the river on a hanging bridge. The hotel is integrated with a museum with 1000s things to watch. Just an amazing place to visit and stay at.

Very unique really vintage. Lots of interesting memorabilia to see. Close to a creek and nature. Short drive to supermarket and night market. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly and helpful.

établissement incroyable avec une décoration vintage à explorer pendant des heures

personnel dévoué et très disponible avec le sourire, le restaurant est immense avec un choix incroyable de plats. le petit déjeuner en buffet à volonté est excellent. Bref un sans fautes pour cet établissement à recommander aux plus exigeants. nous avons également bénéficié d'une très agréable discussion avec la charmante propriétaire. Nous reviendrons.

Quirky property but so glad I stayed there!

Quirky property, there is an extensive memorabilia museum as you walk in (past Marilyn Monroe and the Blues Brothers) and then across a suspension bridge over a river to reach the hotel rooms. The rooms are a good size. Lovely pool for guests. Bar and cafe on the accommodation side of the bridge… breakfast and lunch/dinner restaurants are on the entry side. There’s a wide outside communal verandah space behind the downstairs rooms overlooking the river. Easy walk into town (circa 10 mins).

Hard beds! Though tbh we were so busy through our days that it didn’t affect my sleep. Still, others in my party complained.

A special place with attentive staff

It’s full of decor and beautiful river views, the bridge and restaurant and cafe are museum alike.

Quirky cosy hotel in good location.

Wonderfully quirky hotel with eccentric ephemera, a relaxing pool and rope bridge to riverside restaurant. Nice Thai food, I'm vegetarian and managed to order a few dishes. Good location, 15 minute walk to town, rail station and night market.

Very good

I like the overall features and the theme of vintage. I definitely will be back again! The elderly that work there is friendly.

Far to walk out for food. Delivery service is limited. Restaurant closed very early before 9pm. I lover the room 142 suit family of 6.

It's an affordable hotel, considering it's location and hotel standard

It's at quite central location, so it's easy to go to places of interest and there are restaurants and massage places nearby. However, it's located off the main road, I would advise to have transport to travel out as the roads are dimly lit. It's a vintage hotel, with old style deco, great for photo shots. Breakfast was provided at a vintage style restaurant opposite the hotel, but the food was only passable.

The common areas and first look at room were clean, however, I saw a sock (one sock) lying inside the cupboard, which really puts me off. The water flow from shower was not strong enough, I literally have to stand right beside the wall to shower. Water flow from rain shower was better, but the warm water becomes intermittent. Thus, I did not have good shower during the 2 nights stay. Noises from outside can be heard quite clearly when in the washroom.

Adorable place to stay in Pakchong

The decorations are very unique and adorable. The whole area is worth walking around and taking lots of photo. The 2-BR bungalow is very spacious and next to the creek, which is very relaxed with the sound of water running through the creek.

The bathrooms are quite small comparing to the size of the bungalow.

This is my second time to the property. Wonderful place, always welcoming. Owner offered us a classic room since she remember us very well. If you are looking for a calm, quite place to pamper your self with Khao yai this is the place.

It is an okay place for a 1-night stay as there is nothing great about the town in Pak Chong

The breakfast was quite good.

The breakfast location was at the other side of the river and could do with some well-marked signs.

What a Amazing Property

Perfect choice, everything was clean, with good public access to the city center. Very spacious rooms and very attentive staff. Amazing place with incredible nature and memorable artifacts. Every inch of the property is Picture worthy. My favorite place in Packchong / Khao yai. Will comeback over and over again for sure....

Please improve the breakfast selection as very limited choice...
