Large conference hotel within walking distance of the city center. Very friendly staff. Clean room. There was no air conditioning or fan in the room, but fortunately, the window could be opened. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection.

There was only shower gel and shampoo, so it was basic.

Mechel, the night manager provided outstanding customer service, especially with booking trains (which DB cann make very confusing. He also assisted with dinner suggestions and dealing with an angry restaurant manager when a technical problem arose with payment. It is one of the top 5 customer service situations I’ve ever seen!

Breakfast was good and fresh

While taking a shower the bathroom was getting clogged and water was spilling into the toilet area. There was no mention of the rooms not having air conditioning when booking.
