Situated in Takitumu District, this lovely house for $120 per night is a great choice for your next break. Turou Retreat is a wonderful family home in Titikaveka with a 5 min walk to the Tikioki Beach which is one of the best snorkelling beaches on the Island across the road from Chantals Concierge. The house is within walking distance to Muri Beach and there you have top restaurants, bars, car/bike rental facilities, food markets, convenience stores, along with Kayak hire and lagoon cruises departing daily. This very spacious 3 bedroom home has a large main bathroom and the master bedroom with its own ensuite and walk in wardrobe. All bedrooms now have air conditioning to make your stay more comfortable. Turou Retreat is open plan living with a large kitchen, and large dining and lounge area. A huge deck spreads across the width of the house where you can enjoy BBQs or just relax and chill with a refreshing drink or two. The house is fully insect screened and benefits from the cooler climate being off from the beach. The house comes with Air Conditioning Units in each room, large fans in the open living areas, TV, DVD, Stereo, Bluetooth Ipod docking unit, washing machine, 2 fridge/freezer, cook top, microwave and BBQ, toaster, electric jug, So relax on the deck and enjoy the surrounding peacefulness with the beautiful sound of the roar of the sea in the distance, or spend the day at the beach, travel around Rarotonga to view the many sights and check out things to do on the island. Special conditions: Smoking Permitted outside only. We ask that if anything is broken or damaged during your stay you will be liable to pay the full cost to either repair, replace, or pay. All windows and doors are screened. Extra Linen and Towels are provided Tea and coffee provided Laundry powder provided Extras: There is a Cleaning Fee ( POA from NZ$100.00 per stay);

We super enjoyed the stay at Turou. I think the online pictures don't do it justice. This place is much bigger and nicer than we expected. Its tidy and nicely laid out. The air conditioned bedrooms make it very comfortable. Thanks Linda and family for letting us stay here. Massive memories.

Turou Retreat is a great place to stay, we loved the personal touches of the books about the family & there journey of buliding Torou ❤ there was everything you needed there for a great holiday, close walking distance to a snolking beach and not far from Muri, we hired a van which was great, it was only a couple of hundred more than paying for transfers for 8 of us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to all families. Thankyou 😊

Definitely lives up to its name! It’s not only spacious, family friendly (and definitely ideal for large families and groups - just like mine), it has all the amenities needed to be self-sufficient (regardless of not having an oven). It’s in a great location accessible to all the bells and whistles of Rarotonga (and only a few minutes walk away from a beautiful snorkelling beach, Muri market just around the corner, and more) - it’s a home away from home! And, although the fruits weren’t quite ready for picking (because of the time we decided to travel) we can only imagine that this would have been the icing on the cake. Linda makes you feel so welcomed (before you even arrive on the island). The books that this family provide for guests to read - are superb - where you feel even more connected because you understand the journey this family has undergone to build this home. A definite “yes please, let’s stay here again” from our family.

What a fantastic find! 5 minutes walk to the beach, and a cafe but not much further for more options. Set back off the beach so was a bit cooler and protected from the strong winds we had. Spacious, family friendly and so well equipped with everything we could need to be self sufficient. We loved being able to pick fresh passion fruit from the balcony and guava from the lane. Can’t wait to come back (but maybe with the kids this time as plenty of room).

Fabulous for a family!

Lovely spacious house for our family of two couples and two singles. We stayed a week and loved it. Everything worked well. It was great having the extras of a house like books to read, games to play, blankets to snuggle with on the couch, spaces to dry swimwear, and large tables to feast on. For those who like to cook not having an oven was annoying, however the kitchen is equipped with blender, yogurt maker, and electric frypan etc. Oh and I can’t forget to mention the amazing passionfruit!! Plus the the teens cooking night turned into a hilarious full scale drama as a rogue mouse had made a nest in the outside BBQ. Linda was so helpful with house info, tips on what to do and where to go. We would love to come back to stay next time we visit !!

The villa is on a quiet location but near to a great beach and local shops. The amenities were very good with great kitchen facilities and a lovely lounge and Deck . Property has insect screens and air con and fans. There is a safe and key box which makes everything very easy.

Overall we loved Turou Retreat . We got off to a rocky start as Linda had us arriving a day later but thanks to our resourceful taxi driver ,he helped us get in at 11 pm by finding the key, things improved. We never had a text that is usually sent prior to your arrival by Book a Bach, butLinda contacted us and apologised as she was away for a couple of days when we arrived. Turou was very well stocked with everything you could think of and is in beautifully designed gardens which are private and very sheltered. Easily accommodated the 7 of us and had an amazing deck which we spent most of our time on. A local lady was available if you needed help,but it was 3 days after we arrived before she contacted us. We would definitely stay at Turou Retreat again. Loved the 2 book history of how Turou Retreat came about.What an amazing lady the owner was and was still gardening there at 89👍

The house is only about 5 years old, nicely presented, and reasonably priced. Suited us as there is a gas hob for cooking and a microwave, and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, utensils etc. Plenty of DVDs to watch on rainy days. Short walk to the beach, great snorkeling straight across the main road. Plenty of hire shops and food options at Muri up the road.

House was clean and tidy, so much space and so so perfect for a family to stay there. We have been twice and would 100% stay there again. Can’t recommend enough (: x

Turou Retreat was very clean & tidy, has everything a family needs, the living area is very spacious and has a large covered deck. Its only a five minute walk to the best snorkeling spot and a 10-15 min walk to Muri village area.

This is the perfect family home for a holiday in Rarotonga.

This is the perfect family home for a holiday in Rarotonga. It is spacious, clean and well equipped. There are fans in all the rooms and the overall feel of the house is airy and light. It is just around the corner from Charlies, who make awesome Cocktails and burgers etc. The beach is a short walk away to the Fruits of Rarotonga. Awesome snorkelling. Muri is a couple of minutes drive away and has a great night market for great desserts and a large mix of food. We would stay at this house again.
