The view. The comfort. Space. Peaceful.

Sound from TV was not good. If the TV had a headphone socket the bluetooth speaker could have been connected and improved the sound. Water pressure was erratic, sometimes not sufficient to supply overhead shower, especially if water running elsewhere. The timing of the cleaning was a bit erratic & needed prompting initially.

The villa eden sun is very well situated on the island with lot’s of possibilities to explore. You‘ll find everything you need and even some decent restaurants directly in Prazeres and have close by other nice places like Paul do Mar or Ponta do Sol. Absolut highlight is the view to the endless ocean, especially from master bedroom. The villa is well equipped, has two separate bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenette. Everything is clean, well in order and perfectly maintained. Especially worth to mention is the very kind and professional service.

Eden Sun was amazing. We loved the privacy and all the house amenities. The space was spotless and the pool with loungers and umbrellas were perfect for those hot days after some good hiking. Rental car is a must, as it's quite remote - but that's exactly what we were looking for. Easy drive around the island though. It was home away from home. Madeira in general, is a great holiday spot during these strange times, it felt very safe and they were ready to welcome visitors back! Well done.

It would have been good to have a few dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid in the house.

This is the most gorgeous villa and it was spotless/high quality decor. We had the pool heated which meant the kids ( and us ) could spend hours in it It is out of the way but it’s on the sunny side of the island- not overlooked at all It only takes 1 hour to Funchal and to some of the most amazing walks/ waterfalls ever Close to the petrol station / supermarket etc With the pool and waterfalls etc we didn t miss the beaches ( small one at Calheta)but would recommend Jardim do mar / inferno waterfall / buggy rides ( trail4fun) The photos in the website are exactly right - amazing villa

Before booking the lady on the phone was very helpful. The guy who let us in didn’t say much when we asked about the area-the answer he said all the answers were in the book. He wasn t there on departure as promised and we had to ring to find out what to do
