VILLA CASA CUBA is situated on the modern development of Clube Golfemar which consists of high quality villas in a tranquil setting amidst tropical gardens and adjacent to the Vale de Milho Golf Course. The villa is situated in a Prime location - just 100m from the communal pool, children’s pool, and Bar/Restaurant. The property consists of 2 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms, lounge, and dining room, and furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances. The Villa has FREE high speed Wi-Fi and Broadband Internet; UK & European TV and Air Conditioning. The Villa is south facing, providing stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from the lounge and master bedroom. It has its own private garden and partly shaded rear patio, which provides outside dining & BBQ. Sun beds are located on the roof terrace which enjoys dawn till dusk sunshine with fabulous panoramic views of the coastline and mountains. The Villa is near many spectacular beaches, championship golf courses, and near to a small mini market, and 5 local quality restaurants. There are many attractions including 2 water parks and Zoo Marine just a short drive away. COAST/BEACHES: There are some stunning beaches close by with the nearest Centeanes being about 1km (10-15 min walk). Within 5 mins by car is our favourite beach - Praia de Marinha with its natural arches and rock stacks. The smugglers beach at Benagil and Albandeira all have good beaches. Some have good beach restaurants. The coastline around Benagil is spectacular and the cliff walk from Benagil to Albandeira is rated one of the best cliff walks in the Algarve. There are said to be 82 named beaches in the Algarve, not to mention the hidden coves. GOLF &TENNIS: The Algarve is renowned for its excellent golf courses, and the owners are keen Golfers. Casa Cuba is situated centrally to most of the best courses, thereby offering an excellent base for golfers. Vale de Milho 9-hole par 3 course is adjacent to the property. This is only a short course, but suitable for families, beginners and short game practice. The Pestana Golf Resorts (Vale da Pinta, Gramacho, Silves and Alto Championship courses) are 10/15 mins drive from Golfemar. Pennina and the Faldo and O'Connor Championship courses are all within a 15-minute drive. Salgados Links, Palmares and Golfe do Morgado are within a 20-minute drive. The Vilamoura courses are about 30 mins from the Villa. Discounted green fees and special package deals are available on many courses. Tennis can be booked at the Rocha Brava Tennis Centre, which is only a 10 minute walk from Golfemar. CAR HIRE: Car hire is not essential, but is recommended in order to visit the many interesting places along this wonderful coastline, and inland to the mountains of Monchique. If you require a hire car we can recommend an excellent local company offering good value for money.

The villa was in a quiet area but very close to Lighthouse pool and bar which had a lovely pool and the welcoming staff were great, very family friendly. Walking distance to restaurants and shops a lovely area.

Excellent villa
The villa is in immaculate condition and well equipped. It has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The patio is superb with that great view. The bird book provided helped identify unusual birds that come into the garden. The flowers growing there were beautiful in October.
There is an abundance of literature describing the villa and things to do and see in the area. A lot of thought has gone into everything. The dishwasher and a few tablets were really welcome.
There is easy access to beautiful cliff walks in the area though hiring a car is really necessary if you wish to see many of the sights further afield.
The nearby restaurant, Ponto de Encontro, is reasonably priced and popular with ex-pats, though you'll need Google Maps or Sat Nav to find it!
Would highly recommend this villa.

Delightful villa, clean and fully equipped in a great location
We had a wonderful 10 days at Casa Cuba. The villa is well equipped, and in a lovely quiet location although walking distance to restaurants and Carvoeiro is only a 20min stroll. The communal pool area was clean and tidy with plenty of sun loungers. There are good selection of restaurants close by. Would definitely return :)

Well equipped villa very clean, great location.
The villa is well maintained, extremely clean and very comfortable. The owners have equipped it with everything you could possibly require, including internet TV.
There's a great folder of information on site with suggestions of places to eat and visit as well as instructions on how to use the various appliances. The villa is situated on a very pleasant estate and is only a couple of minutes walk from the lovely pool area and Lighthouse Restaurant where we enjoyed a couple of meals listening to a great live band.
The location is ideal, with a small supermarket only 5 minutes walk away and some lovely restaurants within easy walking distance. There are a couple of beaches within walking distance, but we found it easier to take the car.
Some good golf courses only 15-20 minutes drive and the coastal walks are very enjoyable.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to others.
All in all a great place for a very relaxing stay.

Beautiful villa great location
The villa was spacious spotlessly clean and felt like s home from home with lovely personal touches.The pictures definitely don't do it justice and the views from the roof terrace are stunning It's in a quiet location but within walking distance of some wonderful restaurants and the villa provides plenty of information about places and restaurants to visit . Local beaches are stunning.

Beautiful villa, great holiday
The villa is lovely with stunning views! We found everything we needed and the kids loved the pool toys and buckets and spades which we made use of on beach days. The complex is ideal, quiet and well looked after. The pools are great and were never overly busy. Kids made lots of new friends and we enjoyed several nights up at the Lighthouse Bar enjoying a cocktail listening to the live bands whilst kids played safely in the park. At least 5 places to eat within walking distance and some do takeaway. 5 min drive into Carvoeiro itself. Our only slight negative was that temperatures were very high so without air conditioning the villa was feeling warm even with fans but believe this has possibly been introduced since our departure. Otherwise perfect villa in a perfect location and we are looking forward to return visit. Thank you!

An amazing Vila, would definitely recommend!
This villa made our holiday so much more special, we have 2 young children and they providex everything we could possibly need from high chairs to cots and even buckets and spades for the beach! It was so homely and had everything you need ever need, it was clean and the views were breathe taking. We are already thinking about when we can book it again! Thank you June and Graham x

We are seasoned independent travellers who know the area well and have rented many properties in the Algarve over the years. Casa Cuba has been one of the best! The property was immaculate, with the best equipped kitchen I have seen in a rental property. There were even inflatable pool toys to keep our 2 year old entertained. The newly installed fibre broadband and excellent TV package was also a bonus (to anyone with young children). We particularly liked the electric shutters as they gave us extra peace of mind and welcome additional security. The Golfemar complex is quiet, very well kept with an excellent pool area and nice bar/restaurant. The views are excellent from the terrace. The local managing agent, Monica, is the best I have very dealt with, nothing was too much trouble and the minor issue we did have was resolved very quickly. We will be returning to the Carvoeiro area and will definitely look to stay a Casa Cuba again. 10/10! Regards, Paul and Sue - Sunderland.

Wonderful Villa
Wonderful well equipped villa in a lovely location. Great nearby beaches and lovely on site swimming pools. lighthouse bar and grill offered good food and live entertainment in the evenings.

Wonderful to be back to this superb villa. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need and more for your holiday. Great for a relaxing family holiday with the on-site pool and nearby beaches. New on-site restaurant serving delicious food with views to the lighthouse and sea. A super Villa
We were a french family with 2 teenagers. We have had a wonderful homelidays. The house is full equiped and very clean, We can take our lunchs with a magnific view of the sea, It's super when we get up morning. The house is not so far from supermarket, and good restaurants et is near from the best beachs from Algarve,
The pool was not noisy and very comfortable with larges chairs. We recommanded this house any type of family.

Absolute bliss
Our second visit to Casa Cuba and it really is a little gem of a holiday home. Spotlessly clean, a couple of very small glitches during our stay were quickly resolved and we enticed a family of azure magpies to the garden each morning with slices of Bimbo (local bread brand). The magnificently-sited pool was well-used by us and we often had it to ourselves (beginning of September). The Lighthouse, the on-complex bar and restaurant, had live music twice a week that (hallelujah) didn't depend on over-amplification and it was a delight to enjoy those views from sunrise to sunset. The photos don't do Casa Cuba justice. It is 'just right' for a quiet, relaxing holiday for a couple or family that likes a superb pool within a few steps and plenty of restaurants, beaches and facilities within a short walk or car ride. I think it is safe to say we will be back !

A fantastic villa with breathtaking views
We have had a wonderful holiday in a lovely villa on a great resort. The villa was totally equipped with everything we needed and the children felt at home straight away. The garden and roof terrace had amazing views of the sea. On arrival everything was very clean and tidy and we were very comfortable throughout our stay, I would definately recommend staying here, we had the best holiday.

Fantastic, comfortable villa in good location
This was our second stay at Casa Cuba - We loved it so much the year before.
The villa exceeds expectations, being well equipped and very clean. Our young girls loved the swimming pools, particularly as there's a choice of the large main pool, or a smaller children's pool.
The villa has a quiet location and great views. The owners have clearly gone out of their way to provide all that is necessary to make your stay the best experience possible.
We were also able to make more visits to the local restaurants this time, all of which deliver good quality and value.
Regarding the Algarve as a whole: It's an excellent family holiday destination, with a wide variety of beaches, both city, or natural and numerous other activities, such as water slides, the Zoomarine park and boat trips. You can eat really well, particularly if you like seafood and children are always made to feel welcome.

Fantastic!!
What can we say, A fabulous villa in a beautiful place.
We had 2 superb weeks at Casa Cuba, the sea views from the terrace are beautiful and the villa is so well equipped we needed for nothing.
There are some super beaches within a few minutes drive which we thoroughly enjoyed.
There is now a new bar/restaurant at Club Golfemar, The Lighthouse, which we would also recommend only a few steps away.
One of the best holidays we've had!

Truly Excellent Villa, beautiful place to stay
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Casa Cuba. The villa is perfect with all the facilities you could need which makes it a real home from home.
The view from the roof terrace and garden is really stunning and we loved sitting in the garden looking at the sea with the children nicely tucked up in bed!
The shared pools are great. Our young children loved them both and the nearby beaches are beautiful.
A really great place for a holiday. We'll definately be back!

Outstanding villa
Casa Cuba is a masterclass in how a rental villa should be offered to guests. It is even better than portrayed on the site and, in 20+ years of staying in villas of all shapes and sizes on the Algarve, this one is the very best of all we have been to.
The villa was spotless, extremely well furnished and equipped (we played a game of "What haven't they provided?" and a cherry-stoner was about the only thing we came up with), the beds were comfortable and the TV worked.
It is a perfectly-formed holiday home with beautiful views to the sea, a charming garden (complete with resident sparrows, hoopoes, azure magpies and a wall of bouganvillea) and on a first-class complex with an outstanding pool, pool bar and an up-and-coming restaurant with views that take your breath away.
It would be possible to manage without a car as there is a small supermarket about 100 yards away, plus there are several restaurants within walking distance. Julio's is the only one for us and despite its elegant blue and white decor is cheaper than many other places. Children are welcome and have a beautifully painted play area - and Julio and his staff have a soft spot for the little ones.
The nearest beach, Centiannes, is about a 10 minute walk going and 20 minutes coming back when it is uphill, but not too arduous. The beach bar O Stop offers Everything with Chips and has huge TV screens, so not the place for a romantic evening meal but great for lunch as it is a 'sand between your toes' sort of place.
We will be booking again and next time taking my 85 year old father as the main accommodation in Casa Cuba is all on one level, including from the car park. We have already recommended Casa Cuba to others.
The only slight drawback is the new toll system on the motorway which is a nightmare when you want to pay (2 hours at the post office every four days). There is no way of paying the final tolls relating to the journey back to the airport, so be prepared for a huge fine landing on your doormat. There is a way round it by going to Olhau and hiring a pre-paid meter, but there are no refunds and you have to guess at your use. Crackers of a system and not what an economy dependent on tourism needs. Don't let it put you off though - we used the alternative N125 which runs parallel to the A22, is free and not a lot slower at off peak times.
To summarise: Full marks to the owners of Casa Cuba - they have got it 100% right.

Five star villa – stunning views!
Casa Cuba exceeded our expectations and is a beautifully decorated, clean and an extremely comfortable villa. The owners have thought of everything you could need for your holiday and more. Local property manager very helpful. Amazing views from the garden and roof terraces with a lovely swimming pool and snack bar for drinks and meals on site. Lighthouse bar and grill due to open any day looks fantastic. Small supermarket and good choice of restaurants within walking distance, larger supermarkets only a short drive. An easy and relaxing holiday with a young family, we would highly recommend this villa and location to our family and friends. Good for days out and lovely beaches within a very short drive. Enjoyed the summer sand sculpture fiesta at Pera. The nicest villa we have stayed in and we hope to make a return visit – thank you!

Relaxing holidays
Casa Cuba is a very well maintained property and it exactly fits the description here on the net, except the overwhelming view from the lower and upper terrace. We loved it chilling there and see the day pass by peacefully. After having been in many other holiday resorts and getaways in the past 25 years, Casa Cuba clearly resides in the upper 20% of all of them and it is well worth the money spent. The communication with June and Paul was fast, clear and trustworthy.
Also the entire estate “Clube Golfemar”, mainly the garden and the pool area is neat and very clean and the caretaker staff from Genesyskey is keen and supportive.
If you plan to stay there, you will definitely need a car, even though some shops and restaurants are in walking distance. But the beauty of the area can only be marveled if you are mobile. We would recommend trips to Sagres and windy Carbo de Sao Vincente, the beaches of Vila do Bispo (Praia do Casteljo, Praia do Cordoama) in the western Algarve as well as the thrilling waves at the beaches of Carapteira. The drive takes an hour but is more than worthwhile.
Even though the kitchen of Casa Cuba provides all amenities dining out is a perfect bargain especially when you like fresh fish and wine. A mixed fish grill plate takes you less than 15€ and it is perfect at “O Chefe Antonio” in Carvoeiro or at Restaurant “Poco Partido”.
We would recommend Casa Cuba for families with toddlers or teens 14+ or two couples of any age, looking for a relaxing getaway.

Casa Cuba, in a quiet location, has everything you can possible need for your holiday. Security is excellent. The rooms are spotless,and the beds comfortable. There is plenty of information, maps etc., and It is well placed for walks, golf and other attractions. The swimming pool is just across the road. The veranda has views of the sea and lighthouse, which are a short walk/ride away.Nearby beaches are sheltered by dramatic cliffs. There are some very good restuarants only a short walk away. We have no hesitation recommending this villa.

Casa Cuba is like a home from home. Lovely and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The roof terrace has fantastic views and the villa is in a quiet complex ideal for relaxation and recharging the batteries! It's about a 20-30 minute walk into the main fishing village but there are restaurants along the route if the legs get weary. Overall very good value, we've stayed here twice and can't fault it! There is an excellent information pack in the villa detailing the main restaurants, walks , beaches so you can get the most from your holiday.

This is a lovely comfortable well equiped villa with a relaxing sunny garden/patio. We have now stayed twice and hope to return again in 2009. Excellent restaurants are available within a short walking distance and also a local supermarket with fresh rolls and cakes. The information available on the surrounding areas is extremely useful. Plenty of beautiful beaches within a short drive.

This is our second stay at this exceptional villa. The location is central to exploring the beautiful Algarve coastline.Excellent restaurants are available within a short walking distance. The villa itself is a home from home with all the amenities you require. Information is readily available on the surrounding areas to give your stay a perfect start. I would recommend a hire car to take you further afield, though those requiring a peaceful lazy holiday will find everthing they require within the villa and its surroundings.

Well maintained villa. We found everything as described and extra touches including beach toys and plenty of tourist information. The photos don't do justice to the view from the roof terrace. The location is in easy walking of a supermarket and several good restraurants, but nicely away from the road making it a great retreat for hanging out. The pool is close and ideal for a change from the local beaches. Attractions are close by and the West coast surf is only an hours drive. We had a great time and recommend you visit

Quiet location, but with plenty restaurants close by or a short bus / taxi / car journey away. Villa was very clean and well equipped. The complex is ideal for families and couples. The pools are immaculate and rarely busy. There are many beaches too choose from and other attractions such as Zoomarine and water parks if you can drag yourself away from the pool. It must be good as we have been back 3 years running!
