Positive:
- The hotel is directly on the wonderful Beach Songdo, if you wish and pay for it, you have ocean view. A loved that a lot.
- The room is well equipped.
- You can open the window if you want and you have air conditioning.
- You get free water 2x0.5 l and bathroom amenities daily.
Negative:
- There are no full body sized towels to shower or wash your hair. I assume, the previous "guest" might took them to the beach and/or stole them, so now you need to manage with 2 face-towels pro day. They will be changed every day and you might request 1-2 more at the reception, but it is a shame. I would rather keep my normal sized towels for a 3 night stay and make less work/ energyconsumption for the cleaning.
- The "breakfast". Well, I would really call that a breakfast, as it is - cafe, milk, cereal, jam, minieggs and toastbread. You also need to wash up after yourself, when you are done. If you got to the windowseat (when some very hasty older people doesn't push you out), the view is beautiful.
- NO trashbins on the whole area - I read about it:
You cannot easily find public trash cans at Songdo Beach—or most public spaces in Busan and South Korea—because local governments removed them to prevent illegal dumping and manage waste costs. [1, 2]
Key Reasons for the Lack of Trash Cans
Pay-as-you-throw system: South Korea uses a strict waste disposal system where residents must buy specialized, paid-fee bags for household garbage. When public bins are available, people frequently use them to dump their household trash for free. [1]
Illegal dumping: Free public bins overflow quickly with domestic waste and commercial trash from nearby shops and food stalls, creating high maintenance costs and hygiene problems. [3]
Cleanliness policy: Local authorities found that removing bins altogether forces people to take personal responsibility for their garbage, which paradoxically keeps public areas cleaner than overflowing bins would. [4]
So, therefore you can find trash lying on the wonderful sand... At the hotel there are bins near the elevator (or your minimini bins in your room) - don't buy something with huge packaging... Please, don't litter!

The rainfall shower is nice, although you have to play around for the water pressure to work. The room and bathroom are decently spacious, light system is easy to figure out. Mattress isn't worst either. Curtains keep the room decently dark or light. The AC control is on the TV remote, important to know! Has shampoos, soaps, toothbrush etc in case you need.
Pillows are too thick and too hard, had to sleep without them. Towels are smelly, luckily brought own to use instead. They don't have any guidance information how to use the items in the room, such as AC or leaving keycard by the elevator for check-out. I looked for a hotel with breakfast, but the breakfast is toast and eggs. It's mislabelling and shouldn't have that as "breakfast".
