Regina Del Lago is the perfect home for a family or couple/s getaway just 35km northwest of Rome.

The Regina del Lago overlooks Lake Bracciano offering spectacular views of the lake from the house, garden and terrace. The house sits on a hill just 10 minutes walk from the main square in Trevignano Romano; a picturesque town on lake Bracciano with traditional restaurants, bars and a variety of activities.

The villa is beautifully decorated with the perfect combination of rustic and modern.

It's approximately 160 sq.m on two floors with 1 master bedroom, 1 double bedroom (with terrace and view of lake), 1 room with 2 single beds (which can become double), 2 bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace a fully-equipped corner kitchen, a dining area which leads to the terrace and its beautiful view of the lake.

The surrounding garden also offers various views of the lake and a cozy pergola for lounging, reading or having a glass of wine outdoors while enjoying the view. The garden has ample space for playing or enjoying a simple stroll to pick local herbs for lunch.

You can spend a day at the lake or hike around its many hills, visit the neighbouring villages (over 6 villages in a 15km radius), take a 30 minute drive to the Mediterranean sea or visit Rome which is just a 40 minutes drive away.

We had the best time at this villa. If you are looking to get a true Italian experience in a fun little village with lots to do, this is the perfect place. The listing honestly undersells how spectacular the views are. We hung out on the veranda a lot just because it was so beautiful. We used the pool almost every day and it was clean and nice. You can drive to the train station in about 23 minutes and then ride the train into Rome very easily. We cooked in the kitchen quite a bit and it had most everything we needed, but there are many great restaurants in town also, and the prices are very reasonable for everything. Our favorite spot was Il Caratello. The villa is up the mountain a little ways, but it’s only about a 4 minute drive into town. I would not recommend staying here without a car as the walk down into town is probably 15-20 minutes and walking back up is very steep. The rooms have air conditioning and we were very comfortable. Our host Tess was also wonderful and so helpful and responsive to us when we had questions. We went down to the beach a few days and rented kayaks and paddle boats and the kids had a great time. We also used the sauna and hot tub quite a bit. The villa itself is very rustic and charming. Can’t say enough good things- we made great memories and had such a lovely time. Hope to come back someday!

A wonderful place to stay! The views over the lake are breathtaking, the house is spacious and clean, and there are so many areas to sit and relax… the terrace, the balcony, the pergola, up by the pool. Trevignano is a lovely town, and we really enjoyed exploring the surrounding villages, too. Tess was super helpful. Would highly recommend this place for a relaxing, non-touristy trip to Italy.

beautiful. The area around Trevigiano Romana is fascinating and diverse. There's so much to explore and numerous ancient objects to see. The proximity to Rome is great, and it's easy to reach by train. But the best thing is the house; you just feel at home here, especially in the beautifully landscaped garden. The house has everything you need, and there are plenty of shops nearby. The hostess is super friendly and happy to give tips on where to eat. The manager, Tess, is also very friendly, and the process of finding the house was seamless, and everything was explained well. All in all, anyone looking to relax should definitely consider this place for peace and relaxation. We will definitely come back to explore the rest of this beautiful area. Thank you so much for allowing us to have a wonderful vacation in this part of Italy. Best, Jens

We had a good time in Bracciano. Tess helped us a lot with information (there is also a book with everything you need to know, restaurants, points to see, etc), she was always available and answered within minutes. The location is nice, close to the village, shops and restaurants but you need the car for almost everything, specially if it's hot. There are some nearby beaches, private and open. The house is big enough for a family like ours ( 5 Person) and quite comfortable, I wouldn't call it luxurious. The kitchen corner is like described in the ad, small but functional. We missed the dishwasher. I found a bit odd that we had to pay for electricity and gas, so careful with the air conditioning. We didn't use it as we were out during the day and we opened all the windows at night to cool down. There should be a minimum use of electricity& gas included in the price and the rest extra. The biggest problem was the open air cinema, it was extremely loud making it difficult to sleep, and it happened almost everyday. It started at ca 8.15 pm and sometimes at 12.00 pm was still on. Otherwise we loved having breakfast and dinner at the terrace ( with lots of mosquito spray) and we enjoyed one day the jacuzzi, we had a lot of fun.
