Nestled in Monte Gordo, this lovely villa for $342 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Lic No. 11363/AL Stunning 6 bedroom ( four ensuite) house with large outdoor pool, and Games room, situated within the urbanization of Audiencia, next to Praia Verde, in the unspoilt East Algarve, 15km from Tavira and 8km from Vila Real de Santo Antonio. Set among pine trees and close to all amenities the house is five minutes walk (300 metres)from the superb sandy beach and two restaurants and a cafe/bar. Casa Elouise is within a few minutes drive of five superb golf courses, including the new Jack Nicklaus, Monte Rei course, and backs onto a national reserve of pine trees. Casa Elouise, laid out over three floors with large terraces overlooking the large swimming pool. The swimming pool can be heated at a cost of £100. In addition it boasts a roof terrace with views over the national park and towards the sea, and is luxuriously furnished throughout its six bedrooms, large living room and dining area, together with a large luxuriously appointed AEG, open plan kitchen. The house is lovely, the listing is spot on and the pool just gorgeous. The house was brilliant value for money in my opinion, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could need etc. The living room area had space for our whole group to socialise together which was awesome. The host communicated quickly and clearly any time we had questions (both during and before the visit) and was generally very helpful and accomodating. The only criticisms my group had was that there were no soaps in the bathroom on arrival, no bin bags and only one toilet roll per bathroom; there were a few creepy crawly friends around inside inc cockroaches in the downstairs bathroom; and a few things were showing wear and tear a little e.g. a slightly rattly air conditioning unit and the air hockey table didn't really have air. The area the house was in was perfect for our group, we could walk to the beach in ~10 minutes, we could walk to the closest town in ~30 and then hired bikes which then took us further when wanted. Overall one of the best holidays I've been on and absolutely a villa I would go back to if the opportunity arises!

We have just returned from our holiday at Casa Elouise and it was pretty much perfect. Our family of 8 adults and 4 children found the property had everything we needed and particulary enjoyed the pool. We had it heated which meant the children could spend hours splashing around. The very near beach was gorgeous. We walked to Monte Gordo a few times where there were restaurants and shops. Especially enjoyed the ice creams there. We even spotted a chameleon on the way to the beach one day!

Glad to have returned to stay at this lovely villa. Enjoyed our time there, it’s lovely and spacious and the air con was much welcomed in the blazing heat. So many nice places to eat and drink and although it’s quite a walk to town it’s a nice one through the wooded area which provides a nice bit of shade.

Amazing property!! Everything is perfect. The location close to the beach. Clean and with everything you need for a perfect vacation. The pool is a plus when it is hot outside. I recommend this place to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for 4 families (8 adults, 3 children, 3,6,6 years old). We had plenty of space and we each had a lovely bedroom and bathroom. The grill area was great and it was well worth the extra cost to heat the pool. We swam every day during our stay in April. We did need to keep a very careful eye on the children as the pool is deep at one end and easily accessed by speedy children. The gorgeous sandy beach is an easy 5 minute walk away, as is a local shop. We rented one small car between us all, and contacted Edite from greenrounds for help with minibus transfer from Faro. Edite also organized a wonderful day trip for us all taking in wine tasting, a beach visit and a bit of history - i can’t recommend her highly enough! We were very happy that the host was always very quick and helpful with replies. We were particularly impressed that on one day (Easter Monday evening) we had to call because the gas ran out……. We received a visit within 5 minutes and the gas was refilled almost immediately. Outstanding! Thanks a lot.

Lovely house in a quite neighborhood with enough space to accommodate 12 adults. A few minutes walk to the sandy beach. Monte Gordo was close enough to walk or cycled to with a good variety of shops and restaurants. The little shop about 200m up the road is a must visit. All necessities can be bought here. Their bakery needs special mentioning! Our family had a fantastic time.

The house is great, well equipped for big groups and cooking for a crowd. It's also a very easy walk to a beautiful beach and a few bars, but a car is useful to travelling around. We really enjoyed the pool area and the excellent BBQ too. Some noisy neighbours a few nights but overall a fantastic trip. The owners were really responsive too.

The property was excellent for what we required.
We were a group of 13 and there was plenty of room for us all in what is a very large villa.
There were plenty of glasses/plates/cutlery/chairs and everything worked and was in good order.
The pool area and sun beds is a little small for 13 people but it was not difficult to work around this.
And huge thanks and credit to Andrew for being the perfect host. I had several queries and conversations with him prior to the holiday and he was incredibly helpful and informative.
For all 13 of us it was a perfect holiday.

Had been searching for a property to suit 12 people with a pool and within walking distance of beach. Well, after covid the people increased to 14 and this property was still ideal. Beautiful beach too! We had a few minor problems which I am sure the host will respond too.

Property was great. A little away from any city, so having a car is advised, but it has its own pool and BBQ area. We had a bunch of different friends stay over a month period without any issues. Internet was fast and reliable (I was working remotely there).
Communication with Andrew and Elsa was good, and Yana changed the linen and organised a change of the gas when required.

First time in Portugal
I loved Portugal and we had a very well located property. We were within walking distance of a beautiful sandy beach. We had a fabulous pool at the property and loads of seating and loungers. Every bedroom had an en-suite and all our needs were catered for. They even organised some provisions in for us on our first night as it was late when we arrived. Would recommend this property.

A wonderful 2 weeks
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks in this lovely villa. The pool was a great place to sit and unwind and if it got too hot you could just take yourself inside and enjoy the air conditioning. The location is in a quiet residential area which we liked. A small cafe/bar is only 300 metres away which is so cheap. Attached to this is a shop and bakery which is fine for everyday purchases for lunch etc. A 25 minute walk through the woods takes you to Monte Gordo a lovely little town that has a nice Portuguese feel to it. It is hard not to enjoy yourself here if you want relaxation

Great holiday in all
We experienced a clean, spacious property although it was quite dated but this did not detract from the experience. I would recommend this property to others considering a holiday in this area.

The property was again perfect for our large family and the location remains absolutely wonderful for a relaxing holiday

Lovely Villa, lovely part of Portugal
Villa is beautiful, and close to the beach. Lovely cafe/shop just up the road. Quiet and peaceful area. Monte Gordo is a 20 minute walk through the woods, bit of a trek for the older members of our group, but Nuno Taxis are reasonable and very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this villa, we had a party of 14, from ages 2 to 85, and everybody had a wonderful time.

Large family group, all grown ups (allegedly!!) Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, The villa was perfect for us, great pool, outdoor dining area, comfy lounge area and the table football was very popular, although the games room gets very hot after a couple of games. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, the beach restaurant does great sangria :) We would love to come back again :)

House ideal for 3 families. Excellent location for the beach and Monte Gordo. Negatives a few of the sun beds were broken, one was dangerous. Chipped crockery and glasses. Maybe the owners have not been told about these things.

Wonderful villa in a great location
Our group of three couples enjoyed our stay at this property. A short walk is all it took to access the most beautiful beach. The pool area was wonderful and we used the outdoor BBQ to cook all of our dinners. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay
Our family of 14 from 4 countries in 2 continents got together for Christmas at this lovely property. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The area is beautiful with many places to visit where the people are friendly and the food is delicious. Who knows, maybe we will return sometime!

For our party, it was perfectly positioned just outside Monte Gordo in a quiet location just a 5min stroll from the beach. The villa is also extremely well appointed inside.

Fabulous spacious villa
We were a three generation large family group (13) and villa had more than enough space for all of us. Rooms were well spaced apart although two bedrooms in basement do not have air conditioning but did have fans. Plenty of utensils pots and pans for cooking. Terrace for eating was fabulous especially with the gazebo to shelter from the 40 degree heat we had when there. Pool was well used by the kids and was cleaned regularly. When we cooked the power used to go off but this is quickly and easily rectified by switching the trip switch in the hallway back on I guess with so many rooms being used, air conditioner running and ovens all going at the same time it's no surprise. We never met hosts however we did contact them to arrange taxis as the numbers provided didn't understand english, however Andrew sorted this for us quickly and the taxi firm were fantastic and we used them regularly. Andrew also suggested before our stay Edite Felix from green rounds for airport transfers which we used and what a fabulous lady. Not only did she do all our transfers she took us shopping using her van so we had plenty of room for groceries. she booked and drive us to a private wine tour then showed us the coast of Algarve from carveiro to Monte gordo stopping in villamoura for lunch. Edite also arranged and drive us all to zoomarine which was a great day as well as as all that she arranged golf for some of our group having arranged everything including clubs for them collecting them early morning and bringing them back late afternoon. Fabulous service! You do not need the extra expense of hiring a car as monte gordo is so close, taxis are cheap (we only used them because of two disabled guests) the local bakery also has the essentials and great place to stop for a beer , wine or even a coffee also serves food until late in the evening. Local beach is stunnng never seen one so beautiful. Our favorite restaurant in Monte gordo was the Blue Parrot and Bar was Nox bar which had a fabulous singer, johns bar was good for cocktails but Nox just had the edge, try their white sangria it's amazing! All in all fabulous villa in one of the best locations on the Algarve, I can not wait to return.

Great location near the beach
My family as well as friends (13 of us) rented this property for a week in July. The location was great. It was a short walk to the beach; walking distance to cafes and a convenience store; and a short drive to a large supermarket. The house was lots of room for our large group, the pool was great, and Andrew was an excellent host.

Ideal family location
We were an extended family of 12 adults [aged 19-65 ] plus baby. Superb location, 5 minutes from a wonderful beach, 15 min stroll to resort of Monte Gordo and 5 minutes to the local bar / cafe / bakery. Location couldn't be better and we found shops and local bars to be so cheap. Lovely fish restaurant nearby.
The villa was comfortable and well equipped. Only improvement to suggest would be better lighting on the terrace used for dining.
The friendly owners were on hand for any problems - but it was a problem free holiday. Everyone had a great time; we wholeheartedly recommend this villa. Ideal for a family holiday.

Fantasic Location, Decent Size and Well Equipped
My Family and I had a fantasic time at Andrew's Villa. Monte Gordo is a little town but you are not too far from the shop / supermarket etc. There's a little local shop / bar a short walk and the beach is only 5 minutes walk if you turn left out of the Villa.
The house itself is spread over 3 levels, all the bedrooms were a decent size and everything was as expected and clean. The house has aircon which was needed when we were there as it was around 35 degrees. There's an outside area with a table and a brick built BBQ which we cooked on half the time. The pool was a decent size and had plenty of seating around it. We had 3 families in the villa and there was plenty of room for all of us. There's plenty of cuttlery and crockery, coffee machine etc which was good. You can see that Andrew and his family obviously use the place and it is setup well. Very happy with our stay there and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a large villa. We were over there for a wedding and a few family members came over to visit and were really impressed with the place. I got some serious kudos for arranging it all. Thanks very much to Andrew and his family.
