Sleeps six, two in a downstairs bedroom and four in the spacious upstairs. Swim or fish in the pristine waters from your private floating dock, or enjoy the abundant aquatic wildlife, and natural shoreline in kayaks or canoe. Watch loon families casually swim along the shoreline as you enjoy your morning tea or coffee just steps away on the spacious deck overlooking the sparkling lake, or just sit quietly at the kitchen table and watch the sun rise over picturesque Hobbs Pond. Explore nearby Camden Harbor, or travel the endless miles of Maine coastline. Hike in Camden Hills State Park, or drive up Mount Battie to experience breathtaking views of inland lakes, the islands of Penobscot Bay, and scenic rocky coast. This was a wonderful stay. The cottage is charming, and the location is incredible. We were a family of four plus my parents for a week stay; we had planned before COVID but were so glad we had this by the time August came around. We needed this safe escape. You will be right on the small lake with no need for screens as you watch the sun rise, the loons commute, and the lake change with the time of day. Grace - the owner - was attentive to every message and left us cut flowers (August stay). This is close to Camden without being caught in the tourist traffic - we choose to stay at the cottage or do more rural adventures most days. The little road along the lake is great for an after dinner stroll, but the road out to the main road is definitely steep. We needed the fans - but the house has plenty. We swam, paddled, and sat on the porch every day - great stay.

We had a wonderful two weeks at the Lazy Loon Cottage. It’s a beautiful cottage and a beautiful location. We found everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoyed the delight way the cottage was decorated. It is so clean and well kept. Our host was very helpful and quick to respond to us. We look forward to coming back again.

We loved the house, the area with wood and the lake very much! It was so quiet and beautiful; Camden is near by and we enjoyed to walk around and visit the nice restaurants there! Thanks for staying in your beautiful house! Kind regards from germany! Uta and family

I came up to Maine at a particularly hot and damp day. WhenI arrived at 2:30 the floors were wet from being mopped. The house smelled of mildew. I left and came back at 9pm the floors were still wet even though I had left the windows open. It was a hot wet day, but the mildew smell and the wetness made it impossible to stay there, I had to find a different house. There was no refund and the owner was very apologetic, but there was no way I could stay in a place that smelled of mildew where everything was damp or completely wet.
