About this villa rental
Nestled in Carvoeiro, this charming villa for $333 per night is a great option for your next trip. The villa is located on a large plot and there is parking for 3 cars in the drive (one space is covered). The garden surrounds the villa, is not overlooked and has a large terrace with a private heated infinity swimming pool overlooking the golf course. There is a large lounge with 75inch cable TV, split level dining room with kitchen off and two double bedrooms downstairs serviced by a large bathroom, plus a further half bathroom accessed from the hall. Upstairs the master bedroom has its own bathroom with bath, separate shower, wardrobe area and a large private terrace. There is air conditioning, an open fire and central heating. The kitchen has fridge, freezer, washing machine, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and is well equipped. The garden around the pool has ample space for the six lounge chairs, outside dining suite & BBQ area with sun throughout the day. A table tennis table and (of course!) golf provided on site How to get there: By car from Faro: Take the A22 towards Portimao, keep going, then take junction 6 for Lagoa. At the roundabout turn left signposted Carvoeiro. Next roundabout straight over, then keep in the left lane (road splits you are following Lagoa Sul). At the next roundabout turn right signposted Parque Aquatico, straight over the ´Modelo` roundabout. At the next roundabout turn left signposted Vale de Pinta, at the next roundabout go straight over. Great house, much bigger than expected with nice pool.
A few little irritations which are easily solved and shouldn't put you off.
No bath mats, tea towels, hand towels , dish cloths, cleaning equipment.
All the sun lounger cushions were soaking wet as outside in the rain.

The villa is even better than the photographs show. Gorgeous pool , lovely garden and spacious rooms. Added bonuses are multiple channels on the enormous television and ping pong table !
Communication with the owner Nick is excellent.
Once again a fantastic holiday at this delightful villa.

We had a lovely fortnight at Villa Rose, the villa is well equipped and very comfortable and set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We arrived at midnight and the key collection was all as procedure and posed no problem at all. The pool was a delight and beautifully warm enabling swimming every day and the gardens were just coming out in flower and looked lovely. We had a meal at Quinta dos Santos, a local winery which is only minutes away which was fabulous sitting on the verandah watching the sunset and there are numerous very good restaurants within easy reach, you are spoiled for choice!

A lovely villa, very peaceful location overlooking the golf course. Heated pool was excellent. My son was very impressed with the 75” tv and sky sports ! Nick the host was really helpful and easy to contact.

We have been renting holiday homes via VRBO and similar platforms for over seven years now and are very particular on which homes we choose for our vacations. I usually spend weeks and weeks sifting through properties in various areas of Spain and Portugal to find the perfect spot for my family and I. We have stayed in some lovely houses but have always found something that just was not quite right, but that is until now! Villa Rose was just about perfect! Rose is extremely spacious, open and bright with lots of patio doors to have open throughout the day. The 75” smart television with additional televisions in the bedrooms made a huge difference, especially travelling with two teenage boys! The kitchen had just about every utensil you would require and there were some condiments left in the cupboards which was handy. Toilet rolls were supplied along with soap and shower gel etc in the bathrooms which was a nice touch and last, but by no means least, the pool area was absolutely fantastic. The pool is the cleanest we have ever come across and the temperature was perfect - the pool cover being pulled over every night made a huge difference. The communication with Nick was excellent. We had an issue upon our arrival - which was not Nick’s fault - previous renters had left the oven and BBQ very dirty but Nick had the issue resolved the same day. My youngest son celebrated his 14th birthday during our stay and asked to play a round of golf to celebrate. This was his first ever full round of golf and he managed 3 pars on the Gramacho Course and had a fantastic day. Another round of golf on this beautiful course was played again later in the week and my son and his older brother now wish to join the local Club back here in Carnoustie. The whole Resort at Gramacho is spectacular and it is definitely worth spending a relaxing vacation there. We would not hesitate in booking Villa Rose again. Thank you Nick and the Pestana staff.

Beautiful Villa in a stunning location
The villa is exactly as you see it advertised. It is spacious inside with lots of outside space to enjoy too. A beautiful BBQ area, a games area, pool area with plenty sun loungers. You are literally on the edge of the golf course and can see the golfers tee off. The owner Nick is very helpful and easy to reach if needed. We will definitely return in the future.

Leider war der Service ziemlich schlecht. Sehr unfreundlich beim einchecken. Unser Gasherd war kaputt, deswegen haben wir das beim Service gemeldet. Da nach mehreren Stunden keiner kam, haben wir erneut nachgefragt. Die Antwort war sehr unfreundlich: wir haben auch noch andere Probleme.
Auch bei fragen zb zu Möglichkeiten zu Corona Testststationen äußerst unfreundlich.
Leider wurde darüber hinaus während unseres Aufenthalts das Nachbar Grundstück renoviert. Viel bohren, Staub und Gestank.

Ein gut ausgestattetes Haus, tolle Lage, ehrliche Internetpräsenz, wöchentliche Poolreinigung und Gartenpflege und schnelle Antworten vom Vermieter.
Einziger Kritikpunkt, dass die Sauberkeit in der Küche und den Terrassen ließ zu wünschen übrig.

Casa grande e muito bem equipada com tudo que é necessário para uns dias de descanso perfeito! Piscina privada muito boa e com mobiliario de jardim também muito bom! A casa tem tudo: televisão na sala com netflix, internet wireless, televisão em todos os quartos, playstation, mesa de pingpong, maquina de cafe americano e capsulas, maquina de roupa e louça. Muito bom mesmo... tem supermercado a cerca de 200 metros com o basico mas tem doia grandes supermercados a 5min de carro (auchan e lidl).

When we arrived, we were all so pleased to find it is exactly like the photo! Beautiful, plenty of space and like home from home. Lovely bedding, quality towels etc, just how we like it.
We did have a problem with the air con, but the maintenance team fixed it that day, plus they replaced some light bulbs. Nothing was too much trouble.
Our first evening out and when we arrived back at the villa, a security guy checked us out! Great service, he even opened anc closed the gates.
To get into Carvoeiro we did taxi one or 2 nights, so we could celebrate properly, the Gramacho customer services sorted this for us. Excellent.
The pool was so lovely to sit by. Our daughter went in every day and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Having the golf course right outside was brilliant. We are both keen golfers, although we didnt play the Pinta it was great watching some of the golfers.
My next plan is to find reasonalbe flights and book again.
