The rooms are very neat and clean and spacious. The breakfast was average. I ordered poached eggs and received Benedict with lashings of hollandaise sauce which I scraped off. Location was perfect and very central.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just where the ferries leave for the Islands, a couple of minutes from the old town centre and within easy walking distance of cafes and restaurants at the seafront. Breakfast was abundant with a very good choice of food and our room was very comfortable and spacious with a big bathroom and sea view. Everything was excellent, but best of all was the helpfulness of the staff, both the receptionists and the kitchen staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be returning.
There was nothing we didn't like.
