Wonderful stay at Aaramgah! Totally recommend

We had a wonderful stay in Aaramgah. Piyush was constantly in touch with us before we checked in, and in fact, even after we checked out, to make sure that the rest of our journey was smooth as it was raining in Himachal. The property in itself is beautiful, surrounded by apple orchards. The staff were also super helpful. Would def come back!

Great stay

The location overlooking apple orchards and mountain view was nice.

The last 400 mtrs towards the location is muddy and a bit dangerous during rains.

Peaceful Delight

Aaramgah is set within an apple orchard. It has an amazing view and a plethora of birds to see. Getting there can be a tad bit challenging, so do call the Piyush before you begin to ascend. The only problem is that they are located right next to the reserved forest. As a result there are only 2 dwellings in that area, and one road (that can accommodate only one car at a time). The parking are/dwellings are approximately 100 meters from the main road, so if you don't connect with them and begin your ascent, you will meet the same fate as us - having to revers down the hill because the rowdy driver coming down obviously had no concept of "giving way to drivers climbing". That passage is also a wonderful walk! So, if you do get a chance, do walk that path! The view from the rooms and the rooms itself are a delight too! They have a common space with some games in it, to help kids and people who are young at heart a space to connect and enjoy together.

Food shares a limited variety, but mountains and Alu (potato) paratha go together everywhere! Slightly overly priced for the rooms and the service provided, but it won't prevent me from travelling there again if I get a chance. They have a great parking space and that's definitely private. But, reaching it or even going down from there can be a challenge, so do connect with the team before you ascend or descend.

Aramgarh lives up to its title

Beautiful location and majestic views. Located inside an apple orchard. Piyush is a great host and Surinder provides exceptional service. Piyush was generous enough to host our dinner for the stay. Surinder gave us some apple's from the orchard.

Very comfortable. Lovely wood-panelled rooms, although a bit small. Exquisite view from the balcony

The first thing that comes to mind were the friendly and helpful staff. The location in the middle of an orchard was great as were the views from our balcony. The food, especially dinner, was plentiful and very palatable. The owner of the property was always available on his mobile.

The rooms were a bit on the small side and there was no space to store luggage - there was no space for a luggage stand!

a place I want to go back to again…

it’s an outstanding location. the rooms are very well done and the best part is, it’s in the middle of a forest. that’s what you go to the mountains for! lots of greenery and senery. it’s a pet friendly place and their own dogs are a delight! so if you love nature and animals and lot of peace, this is just the place. the host Piyush is a great host and the bonfires he hosts are awesome!

everything is great. maybe the room heaters in the dead of winters need to more effective since it gets really cold.

Worth every single penny and a must visit place if you are coming to Narkanda.

That it was away from city’s hassle. The rooms were clean and the staff was very professional. The home cooked meal and the authentic food prepared by the chef was worth everything. On top of this the kindness with which Piyush hosted us made our stay comfortable and carefree.

Exceptional

From the time we arrived until the time we left it was an amazing stay but sadly only overnight.Beds were amazingly comfortable, loved the view from my room especially in the night. What I loved the most is the serenity. You are surrounded by Apple orchids and cheel trees all around. In the night it was complete silence and you are under blanket of twinkling stars. The owner Mr. Piyush was so helpful, polite and welcoming. He is an amazing guy. I loved the pre visit phone call, personal touch. He guided us like a family. Dinner and Breakfast in the dining room was homely. Overall experience was excellent. I will definitely stay at Aramgah again and this time for few more days this time with my family. PS : As the last 400 mtrs are uphill and off-road so try to reach here in day light.

The location...a peaceful combination of conifers and apple orchard, the delightful host, the breathtaking view... Mr Piyush thank you for your hospitality... It is the people skills that keep calling guests back! I enjoyed more at the property than sight seeing in the biting cold 😆 Its the attention to detail that makes you a wonderful person. Kudos...
