Schöne Auszeit.

Die direkte Lage zum Strand und der großräumige Wohnbereich. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich.

Die Lüftung auf der Toilette hat leider nicht funktioniert. Die Außentreppe war sehr steil.

Superb

I loved the location and how big the living room and kitchen were. Smiling host employees were very helpful.

A microwave would have been good. I thought it was a fully equipped kitchen. The mattress on the double bed was very soft, Also, the 10 am checkout time is a little early for when you are on holidays, 11 am should have been a normal checkout time.

Lovely family vacation

Spacious, cosy apartment, very well situated: a short walk to the beach, the centre, supermarkets and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen, has everything you need.

Not very well soundproofed, we could hear the neighbours upstairs.

Great location, close to beach and train station.Good budget option.

The property was walking distance to the beach and train station making it very convenient to get around.

The temperature control was movement activated and it was very cold during the night time. Extra duvets had to be requested. There was no microwave and pillows without pillow cases. The instructions to the unit was very vague and we spent some time at 1am trying to locate the correct unit.

This is a nice apartment for a short stay located near the beach and town centre.

The location is everything for this apartment. It is right next to the landmark of the old lighthouse. It is across the road from flats and a small casino. Then there is the promenade and then the beach. It was great to go back and forth easily from the beach and located nearby the town centre. It was equipped with the basics for a short time stay. It is spacious enough and is probably meant for a couple, however, it did accomodate a family of four like we were. It was clean and the facilities like the stove and bathroom were modern (The stove is push button). It has Wifi and television. Shampoo, soap and two toilet rolls were included. There were clean sheets and towels provided (The extra sheets and towels are in the sofa). There is a dishwasher and tabs which is very handy for a family. The kitchen was fully fitted with plates, glasses, mugs, bowls, saucepans, frypan and cutlery. There was a coffee machine, kettle and two toasters,This is great for families, like us, who cook at the apartment. It has a small fridge and dishwasher and only lacks a small washing machine. A table for four is provided with chairs to the kitchen bench. Cleaning facilities are provided like brooms and pans etc. which is very helpful as we needed to clean the apartment particularly from sand. Garbage facilities are provided which is helpful particularly if you are a family and produced a lot of waste quickly. The management has made sure that the tenants to the other apartments are quiet and respectful of "house rules". There are also security features and safety features like smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher/blanket. The apartment is located near supermearkets, shops, restaurants etc. (5 min. walk). The SmilingHost company personnel are always a phone call away to help you at anytime.

The Swikly company which asks for a security deposit is a huge problem. The security deposit we could understand. But Swikly asked for access to your credit card account and for a separate access number to access your credit card account. Not happening! We rang management who were understanding and we didn't have to provide these details. The price of the apartment is definitely on the dearer side probably because it is near the beach. There is no free parking in Zandvoort. The apartment is located on a corner and has no parking available. The cheapest parking is 15 mins walk away at a car park which cost €15 a day. You pick up your keys at a designated property management store and driving through Zandvoort is a nightmare. Remember you will have to pay city tax here too. The apartment has little things missing like working lamps and the stove fan and light didn't work (PS. the buttons are hidden on the side of the fan). We cooked spagetti, chicken penne and indian curry but not a simple pizza due to no pan and oven mittens. There is plenty of air in the bedroom through the windows, but, airing the main part of the apartment was difficult as there was only the kitchen window to let air in. We had the kids sleeping on the sofa bed and they were very hot. Remember you are on one of the main streets of Zandvoort so you will hear outside noise all night long. There is a fire ladder outside the bedroom window which is good but bad in a security sense. We had the attic apartment. There is no balcony. The stairs are very steep and have small steps. We had to walk up two steep stairwells. This apartment is not for anyone with movement difficulties. Additionally, there are no drawers to unpack your things really. There is one small walk in cupboard which was fitted with one coat hanger. We basically lived out of our suitcases for our stay. Hold the wall sockets in place when plugging/unplugging electrical equipment.

The place has a very bad internet connection, just for checking whats up and nothing more. The photos of the apartment are different from what we became! The place is not clean and not comfortable at all. It was rented for 3 persons but harldy fits for two. Unfortunately no parking reservation, it is very difficult to find a park place and we paid much more to find a place. The apartment was too loud and we could not sleep the firt night, becuase some guests had party the whole night! The stairs are right outside the bathroom, so do not book it with kids and elder people. very dengarous! The price was 415 per night , extreamly too high for such a bad accomodation!

Exceptional

Very close to the beach and the city centre.

The ground floor appartment is clearly visible from the street, so be aware if you dont like this. It did not bother us, because we were at the beach most of the time anyway

Beautiful Appartment near beach

Very nice and comftable interiour. Only 200 m from the beach and from restaurants. Just perfect! We have booked very spontanious and could enter the appartment just 1 h after booking. Great service!

A little noisy at night, due to the crying dolves ;-)
