Die Aussicht vom Balkon aus dem 2. Stock auf den Lago d'Iseo und der nette Garten. Die alten Bodenfliesen im Zimmer sind toll. Das Frühstück ist sehr günstig. Man kann durch den Garten an den See und zur Fähre zur Monte Isola.

Der Zustand des Hauses ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen. Da wurde seit Jahrzehnten nichts mehr investiert. Und so wundert es nicht, dass das Schild mal zwei und nun nur noch einen Stern anzeigt. Schaut man sich das Haus von außen genauer an, hat man eigentlich Sorge....dass es einstürzen könnte. Es gibt wohl keine Erben, die es übernehmen werden. Deshalb keine Investition en, so meine Vermutung. Der Zimmerpreis ist eigentlich zu hoch für das Gebotene, was ein wenig durch das zusätzlich zu zahlende Frühstück (5€) ausgeglichen wird.

Stunning view of the lake and mountains. Great location - close to trains and ferries. Very big room with balcony. Room cleaned and fresh towels every day. No water bottles in the room on arrival. Family friendly gardens. Quiet and relaxing. Possibility to leave your bags after check-out. Friendly and helpful owner. Could easily spend a week there.

The Albergo Ristorante Aquila is a very rustic hotel on the shores of Lake Iseo. When I stayed the restaurant was closed and there was no breakfast available. The views of the lake from the second floor rooms are spectacular, but be aware there is no elevator. The hotel itself appears to have been built in the 1950s and the room's styling and bathroom date from that period, which did not bother me but may concern some guests. A typical Italian hotel from that era. There is free on site parking and the ferry wharf is right outside the hotel. Reasonable rates for the summer period and a warm welcome from the staff.

No wifi - the views of the lake are amazing so you don't really need the internet but it would be good to have it available.

The location of the hotel is probably one of the best in Sulzano. The manager on site is a wonderful gentleman who does everything around the hotel and takes good care of the guests.

The bed in my room could improve a bit. It sinks in the middle. However the value, location, and charm of the hotel outweigh the flaw of the bed by much.

Breakfast from the host was quite good (Italian so it can be quite sweet). The room was like from the old soviet time, but it was quite well preserved and the night was great. Altough what made this place special was the Balcony view! Amazing and near the property you can easily take a swim or go to the next island. Everything went well and I would recommend it - felt safe and secure!

Bathroom shower was leaking a bit water to the floor, but nothing that bad. Perhaps I used the showerhead wrong and that is why it splashed a bit to the ground. Otherwise all the rest was good.

Wonderful view of the lake from our balcony and pretty gardens leading down to the lakeside and nearby quay for the boats over to Monte d’Isola. Friendly and helpful host.
