The building is amazing. It's an old building and it feels like you're travelling back in time due to all the old ornaments, paintings, furniture, etc. The rooms are spacious and unique, bed was good. Location was also fine.
There was a party next door on Saturday night, I am a good sleeper so didn't bother me much, but light sleepers might be affected.

Haus Laer is a wonderful if you love art, antiques and German history. The rooms are comfortable and the service very good.
As the hotel is self catering the cooking facilities are adequate but a little limited. A toaster, cooking ring, fridge, kettle and coffee machine are fine for breakfast . For a dinner or lunch we found Cigos at the Kemmnader See is great.

Has a LOT of character is immerse in the nature and is very close to several key attractions. The owner is a wonderful person very welcoming and friendly
I suggest only to: put a non-slip mat in the shower, a coat rack at the entrance to the room, and be careful with the kettle, which has a broken lid and can burn you. Furthermore, since there are convenient kitchens available, I would suggest providing coffee, tea, sugar, honey, and milk for guests, as well as basic essentials like salt and oil in case you want to quickly cook an egg without having to buy everything you need for just one night. For the rest ALL IS GREAT !!

Incredible historical building and surrounding grounds. Every room was adorned with interesting art and objects.
Greeted by a very friendly and helpful host, who spoke good English. All our suites had a private kitchen, bathroom and living room!
Very clean and comfortable beds.
No local food shops - but a very well equipped kitchen, so take breakfast!
