Don’s Place is very quirky with the best views of any properties we have stayed in during our NZ trip. So many lovely touches, including bacon and eggs for us to cook for breakfast. Comfy bed, very clean kitchen and bathroom, and walking distance to the Jolly Roger, where you get 10% discount on food if you show them your key. Don is a friendly and welcoming host. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nothing!

The serenity, views and location

It is clear that Don puts a great amount of effort in to making it a nice place to stay. Every cupboard has some sort of "bonus" in it that I didn't expect and highly appreciated. I feel like my money was well spent and would have felt the same if the price was higher. Good on ya Don.
The double bed was okay but the two single beds were both way too soft and not very nice for an adult to sleep in
