L'acccueil chaleureux qui met en confiance
Le cadre est magnifique, reposant, accueil parfait. Petit déjeuner et repas copieux . Repas pris sous pergola,très agréable.

The lady who runs it is sweet and the room was pretty, with a large, well-equipped en suite. Jam was homemade and the two prunes were home-dried. The dog is friendly. This property could so easily be spectacular, but a couple of serious issues (cold and breakfast) held it back.
The bedroom was absolutely freezing (even with two blankets on top of the duvet). We were OK having no tv in the room or on the property, but having at least a social area to sit round a fire (to get warm) in a comfortable chair would have been very welcome. Breakfast was disappointing: two and half small pancakes each plus hard toasted rolls, tiny pat of butter, three strawberries and two prunes, approx. 30ml orange juice and one small cup coffee/tea. A less expensive B&B we stayed in on the same trip offered fresh fruit salad, croissants, homemade yoghurt, sliced cheese and ham for breakfast with unlimited tea/coffee. It feels mean saying this, as the lady was quite friendly and pleasant, but the whole offering felt a bit 'meagre'. Even in hard covid times, having the wood burner on for an hour would not cost the earth, but would have stopped us getting into bed fully-clothed at 8pm because we were so cold.
