Onze gastheer in de pastorie van Brectouville was Philippe, een zeer aimabele en hulpvaardige man, die ons graag zijn huis, bakkerij en paarden wilde laten zien. Ook wilde hij beslist ons een avondmaaltijd en ontbijt aanbieden, met als argument dat we op de fiets waren gekomen en er geen winkels of restaurants in de buurt waren. Beide waren voortreffelijk.
