Location was fabulous! We were lucky there were few clients so we were givens room with a view of the mountains and waterfall! The room was comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was à la carte. We ordered the yougurt and fruit and granola bowl and coffee. No bread or croissant included, there was not much granola, the yougurt was runny, and the fruit was canned fruit cocktail with a couple of slices of fresh banana for 14€ wash. Not worth half that and not substantial enough for a hikers breakfast. We found much better options in town.

Incredible location and view really can’t be beaten.
Décor à bit dated but we didn’t mind as the view made up for it.

The location was amazing. Having a view of the cirque is indescribable. The entire field of place was like being in another time and in the best way.
We were the only ones it seemed in the hotel at the time so it felt slightly eerie. So it closed up rather early there was no opportunity to sit at the bar. People had talked about and we felt strange being the only ones eating breakfast in the morning.
It was the time of year shortly before season and there’s a heat wave going on in the area They were saving on electricity because we were the only guests in the area so there were many times we walked in full darkness to our room, which felt sometimes unsafe , however we trusted we were OK. We could not open windows and were instructed that the flies were too bad, but it was so hot outside and so stuffy in the room with no ventilation it made sleeping difficult
