The only food available was a nearby cafe that had limited hours. I was on foot so i wasn’t able to drive to nearby restaurants. The owners of the property were very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the history which I found fascinating. The views from the property were stunning and the abundance of flora and wildlife made for a restful and peaceful stay.
The only thing I missed was a small fan in my room. The weather was unusually warm.

Beautiful views
The room was small to the point I could only fully stand at one end (You can see how small it is as the door frame to the bathroom has had to be cut at an angle to fit). It was very dated & the bathroom smelled of damp. I'm sure the owners are very proud of their eco home & it is impressive that they've created it but it's not value for money (especially if they are saving money running it by definition of it being "eco"). The kettle is of the type that has the cord attached and doesn't exactly fit in the sink to be filled. This could be dangerous if the plug gets soaked. Simply replacing this would be a helpful start.
