Do not stay here

Dirty and tired, not been cleaned, hosts ignored our text messages. We paid £69.25 for a family of four. For one night. We never asked for our money back but highlighted how unclean the property was. We asked for a speedy return of our cleaning deposit given the condition and the fact we were ignored. There were poo stains in both toilets. Thick with dust elsewhere. There was money on the floor. Stained beds. Stained sofa. Broken windowa. Hairs. Gross. Look at the pictures and videos.

Great budget accommodation

Luckily we managed to book another property and had a lovely few days at the coast, after the extremely stressful start!

The property itself is in a great location, close to amenities, with arcades close by and also a lovely pub.

The cleanliness of this property was absolutely disgusting. We couldn’t stay here due to how bad it was and had to re-book somewhere the same night, paying out more money we didn’t need to. Toe-nails scattered around, faeces from I don’t know what on the door frame, mould on the curtains..believe me the list goes on. After contacting the owner, the reply was “these are not like the pictures my cleaners sent me this morning” and “you’ve paid for a budget holiday”, yes we have paid for a budget holiday, but there’s still standards, this property is a health hazard in itself. There was also a broken window on one of the children’s rooms, when speaking to the owner about this their reply was “just smack it and it will close”….hmm okay, and potentially break it more? What we found quite coincidental is the fact that upon returning to the caravan on the final day of our stay to return the key, the cleaner was there stripping everywhere out and renewing everything. Surely if it had been cleaned thoroughly 2 days before, you wouldn’t feel the need to be replacing everything as we didn’t stay there? One thing is for sure, we most definitely will not be booking this property again, especially after the rude attitude of the owner towards us. Completely unacceptable.
