The hotel is next to the famous Via degli Dei, making it comfortable for hikers and people accompanying. There is a nice pool and the building is very pretty. Personal highlight for me was that I was allowed to check in already in the morning, which was very helpful and sweet.
The place was more expense than our other stays along the route of Via degli Dei, and we wouldn’t say the difference was completely justifiable. The rooms are a bit old at places, with no air conditioning or fan.

little hot but luckily had 2 fans as the weather went too hot this year in july-38% !!
only trouble was the pool gathered too many insects and flys and bees everyday--so we had to work to pull out insects

Dinner is available, which is convenient as it is a bit out of the way if you are walking the Via Degli Dei. The facilities are the bare minimum.
The room and bathroom had no ventilation, and there was clearly mold on the bathroom ceiling. It was a cold day and the heat was not on, which is not very comfortable after a day of hiking in rainy weather.
