About this castle / palace rental

Situated in Umbria, this lovely castle / palace for $651 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Immersed in the green Umbrian hills, in a very panoramic position, between Perugia and Assisi, ours is an ancient farmhouse from the 1200s that has been completely renovated and organized to accommodate groups. The structure is an ancient noble house that belonged to a very important family of Perugia, ideal for groups of friends or several families, it has a room with a large fireplace on the ground floor with an adjacent kitchen organized with 4 burners, oven, pasta cooker, grill lava stone, refrigerator, chest freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven to be able to cook and eat together. Also on the ground floor there are two other living rooms, and a dining room for everyone. It is surrounded by a magnificent garden with roses, olive trees and fruit trees, within which there is a beautiful panoramic swimming pool equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds and deck chairs. We also have a pleasant children's play area right in front of the swimming pool. For our little guests we have a play area in the garden in front of the swimming pool and an internal room with games, felt-tip pens and colours. Also in the garden we have a barbecue area with tables, chairs and outdoor sofas and a laundry room with washing machine, available free of charge to our guests. At 800 meters. with us, in the village, there is a large supermarket where you can do your shopping, a bakery, a pizza by the slice, a bar, a post office, etc. For all those who want to improvise pizza makers, it is also possible to use a magnificent wood-burning oven located in our characteristic courtyard; for those who prefer embers, we have a large brick barbecue, located in the garden with tables and chairs for outdoor dining. As for meals, if you don't want to cook, there are two restaurants/pizzerias nearby where you can dine at reasonable prices and enjoy typical Umbrian cuisine. Ours is the ideal place to stay in contact with nature in a friendly, relaxing and pleasant environment. In addition to family hospitality, you will also find excellent and valuable advice to make your stay pleasant and interesting.

I had a very nice stay with a few friends after we were finished with school. You can stay up late and listen to music and party and have fun, no problem! The owners live there and are really nice and caring. If you‘ve got a problem, you can just tell them! Thank you Julio and Vera, it was a very nice stay:)

Ho deciso, poiché l’anno scorso, causa covid, non sono riuscito a festeggiare i miei 40 anni di riprogrammarli quest’anno. Sul sito ho visto questa location fantastica ed ho invitato 30 miei amici per un week end. Ci siamo super divertiti, vera e julio sono spettacolari e super disponibili. Ho utilizzato la struttura ad uso esclusivo, la consiglierei a chiunque. Esperienza super positiva❤️

Nous avons passé deux semaines formidables au Castel d’Arno. Le lieu est magique, perché sur une colline avec une vue sublime sur les vallées de l’Ombrie. La maison est très grande avec de beaux volumes et un charme fou. Les amoureux des vielles pierres adoreront! Les murs épais gardent la fraîcheur. Belle piscine, grande et bien entretenue. Sergio est charmant, très attentionné et d’une grande gentillesse, présent en cas de besoin mais discret. Il nous a donné beaucoup de conseils de visites et d’activités. Nous avons utilisé les services d’Angelo pour nous donner un coup de main pour la cuisine. Très efficace et hyper gentil! Maison idéale pour des grands rassemblements familiaux ou amicaux avec des jeunes. Merci à Sergio pour ce merveilleux séjour!

Siamo stati nel casale a Castel D'Arno per festeggiare i 40 anni di mio marito. Una occasione per rivedere vecchi amici. Siamo stati benissimo: bagni in piscina, relax in giardino, barbecue. Gli appartamenti sono spaziosi, puliti e dotati di ogni comfort. Il casale è immerso nel verde, lontano dal caos ma a soli cinque minuti di auto c'è il paese di Pianello con tutti i servizi. Inoltre la posizione è strategica per visitare Assisi e Perugia. Sergio, il proprietario, è stato adorabile. Discreto ma allo stesso tempo disponibile a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza.
