About this house rental

Nestled in Swanage, this lovely house for $220 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, this stunning detached house, built in 2015 is finished to a high specification. The Gatehouse is just a ten minute walk to Swanage town centre and award winning beaches and has easy access off road parking for 3 cars. It has been furnished to a high standard with comfort in mind, making it a great place to relax. Children are well catered for with access to a travel cot, stair- gate, high-chair, toys and games. Downstairs is open plan with a dining area and lounge looking on to the garden. French doors from the living room open up onto the patio and garden. The stairway leading up from the living room, branches off to two separate landings. The first has a good size double bedroom and a separate full suite bathroom. The second contains the twin bedroom, large king size bedroom and separate shower room. Bedroom 1) double bedroom 2) king size bedroom with TV 3) twin bedroom with 3rd pull out trundle bed Bathroom spacious and modern with basin, W.C. bath with handheld shower head Shower room with double basin and W.C. Kitchen with integrated large fridge and freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/dryer, gas hob and electric cooker, coffee machine, door to rear garden Lounge/diner with wooden floors and double doors opening onto garden, large flatscreen TV with blue ray DVD player Downstairs Cloakroom WiFi included Recently we have added a lovely wooden garden cabin, a quiet space to work from or additional play space for the children to watch a movie. To the side of the cabin room is a large shed for storage. The spacious garden patio includes a built in BBQ and relaxing garden furniture. Parking designated off-road spaces for up to 3 cars Fuel gas central heating Bed linen and towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels. Cot and highchair available, please bring your own cot linen Pets - dogs are welcome

The Gatehouse is a lovely house, with a great layout for families or friends sharing. It is immaculately presented, very comfortable, very easy to cater for stay-in evenings, everything works excellently. An easy walk into Swanage town and very easy drives to the fantastic South West Coastal path and the villages en route. We had a very pleasant New Year stay here - we highly recommend this property for a visit to Swanage and Purbeck.

We cannot speak highly enough of this property; it delivers everything and more than you would expect from a holiday rental. Additional ongoing comms with Sally (owner) throughout the week were very efficient. A boiler problem rolled over to us from previous week however it was corrected. House location means you are only a 10 minute stroll from the town. And garden is private plus well equipped for all to enjoy. Most likely a return to property for the four of us.

Property as described, comfortable and clean, lovely back garden and BBQ area. had issue with the boiler which the owner was trying to sort, no hot water for 2 x days. Apart from that all good and would stay again.

My family stayed at this property for 5 days in July. Throughout the booking process and pre arrival Sally was really helpful and made everything run smoothly. The house was a good size for us with 2 adults and 3 children aged 10 to 23z the garden room was an extra bonus as it gave space. The garden was a good size with plenty of seating, parking was really easy. We cooked at home some nights and the kitchen was well stocked, there were also plenty of takeaways within walking distance and most delivered. We also walked I.to the town which was a relatively short walk, fast on the way down! Swanage itself we found to be a great base to visit lots of attractions on the Jurassic Coast. Throughout our stay Sally was very responsive, I will definitely return!
