This hotel is an absolute gem. They really do go above and beyond to look after you. Although it may be a 3 star facility - their service is truly 5 star.
Chrisoula is the hostess with the mostess! She is such a caring, gracious and lovely person who is always on hand to deliver that impeccable hospitality. Chrisoula made travel arrangements for us on multiple occasions and again, this was a fantastic service.
The hotel has some of the best food I've had in Kos. What makes it even better is the truly great value for money they offer whilst also growing most of the ingredients that they use in their cuisine. They even make their own olive oil! Which is truly a delight.
The cocktails are fantastic - I had some strawberry dacquiris which were absolutely delicious. Fresh crushed strawberries with ice and a generous dose of booze. So tasty - highly recommended.
The accommodation offered fantastic value for money - two bedroom apartment with a beautiful balcony - which is huge; great for a family. We were very happy there and used it as a base for our holiday.
The hotel is in a quiet but central Tigaki location with lots of lovely tavernas in close proximity. Sagittarius, Alikes, and Plori to name but a few favourite eateries.
The pool is a generous sized and the pool area offers lots of relaxation space. When we were there it was fully booked and it was never crowded. Really spacious and clean, two warm pools with a slide for the kids and a bigger pool for those that can swim.
Most of all I want to really compliment the Golden Sun on their warm family atmosphere. It felt like a home from home and made our family feel so welcome. My children even made friends with a local resident (little Angel girl called Mikaela) and we were all so sad to leave them. They made us feel like part of the family whilst there & it is honestly such a special place. This is the second time I've been - last time was for a week and this time was for two weeks. Next time 3?

We arrived much later than planned due to bad weather and flight delays however this was not a problem for the nice man that checked us in. He was very helpful, informative and accommodating. The apartment block it's self is near the beach which we loved. We also loved the local cats. Great price and great customer service.

The views from the room. The friendliness of the pool bar assistant. The nearness of the beach and restaurants. Sheets were changed twice in seven days and beds made. The apartment was cheap and basic which reminded us of the Greece of old!
The water supply pressure and the shower attachment to the wall were poor. There were no mops and brushes supplied to keep the room tidy. The balcony was a noisy place to sit at times, perhaps people should be aware that noise travels easily.

Small family run hotel, walking distance to the town and beach. Lovely pool and bar area. Excellent air conditioned rooms. We had a 2 bedroom family apartment, adequate size. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities. We ate at the poolside bar most days for breakfast and lunch. Excellent choices all made fresh to order. The kids loved the waffles, pancakes and crepes.

We got what we paid for, this is a family run apartment with a lovely view from the balcony, Kept clean and bins emptied every day. Any problems were resolved almost immediately.
The bed's were comfortable and clean. I loved that every balcony had a washing line with pegs.
We would not hesitate to book here again. And fresh lemons from the trees round the pool
The stove tops are proberbly ready to be replaced. I like to cook on holiday and the controls were worn which made it hard to regulate, not a deal breaker.

Very friendly family run hotel in a lovely location with excellent all round views. Good facilities and a friendly little dining area serving a good range of breakfast and lunch options. Overall excellent value for money hotel.

What an incredible stay!!
The host siblings Chrysoula and George couldn’t have done more for us. They were incredibly attentive to our needs and keen to make our stay as special as possible. Very kind people.
Stunning surrounding situated between mountains, a flamingo salt lake and a golden sandy beach.
Delicious food - high quality, good sized portions, good value.
Great outside. Clean, good sized adult pool. Additional kiddies pool. Good equipment (trampoline, swings, play house) in shaded area for young children.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Basic accommodation but all you need. Only real downside is that the mattresses were very hard.

The staff we're very nice, friendly and helpful. The location was good as it was handy for most other things in the resort, eg restaurants and the beach. We had 2 nights in a ground floor apartment, which we didn't enjoy, but then 12 nights in a top floor room with privacy and an exceptional view of the sea and the sunset.
Ground floor room was very cramped and we didn't used the balcony as we prefer to have privacy. There are lots of feral cats in the location and one was on our balcony wall one morning. Not being cat lovers, we didn't like that, but it was not the fault of the owners. Somehow they manage to keep the poor and bar are cat-free.
