It’s very quaint and historical (they can’t change the cabins on the outside or the structure bc of this), the main lodge is so cozy and warm with the log cabin feel, great front porch to sit on a swing or rocking chair and enjoy the view, pool / hot tub areas have great views. Grand lake is the cutest town. Everything felt clean inside
It doesn’t bother me since it gets chilly at night, but note there’s no AC. The shower curtain was a little icky and smelled musty , and the bathroom was tiny , but would not deter me from returning at all!

Easily one of the best lodging experiences I’ve gotten in the US. Beautiful historical grounds, nature around, facilities and liveliness of the restaurant and lobby combined with serenity of the cabins. Great helpful staff, great convenient system of text messaging the reception.
