The hotel was right in the middle of Altstadt, overlooking the lively square. The city’s parking house was just behind the hotel and costed about CHF 7 for the night. The parking house also had special parking spaces for women drivers (unsure if that’s positive or negative).
The staff was very polite. The check in was extremely easy. We arrived well after 21.00 on a Monday which was a ”ruhetag” (resting day) because of which the reception was closed since 16.00. However they left labelled envelopes with the room cards and all the information we required on the desk.
The room had complimentary water, coffee and tea which was much appreciated!
The toilets really need an upgrade. They had a hospital feeling and the tub became slippery after we asked for cleaning. This was unnerving as I was travelling with my old parents. An anti-slip mat would have been great!

Great central location. Right in the heart of things and very close to the train station. Check in was not so easy as the link didn't work, but I was able to check in at the desk. They were very friendly on reception.
Room was spotlessly clean. I had a room over looking the square, which I liked, others might find it a little noisy, but the World Cup final was on, so it was fine for me.
Breakfast was a little on the poor side as the eggs were on the side and a little cold as they were just under a lamp. Breakfast selection limited.

Hôtel au centre de Brig, plutôt sympa.
Avec la chaleur estivale, il fallait ouvrir les fenêtres et c'était très bruyant dehors (quelques bars à proximité directe). Pas de climatisation pour aider, et un ventilateur bruyant au possible. Bon, on ne choisit pas la météo.
Le staff était sympa mais pas hyper efficace au déjeuner : rechargement lent des plats du buffets alors qu'il n'y avait pas foule de monde par exemple.
