Perfect location with easy access to the stupa. Room has big comfy bed, air-condition, good storage space, tv and balcony. Eleven peaceful night sleeps. Generous breakfasts. Hotel is beautiful with atmospheric decor. Good Chinese restaurant Khorlo in the garden.
WiFi can be a bit slow. Water pressure is a bit low in the shower.

Nous n’avons pas pu bénéficier du petit déjeuner car ils servent que dès 7h30. Nous aurions souhaiter pouvoir le prendre vers 6h30 ou 7h.

A beautiful building in traditional Newari style, made of red brick, with a distinctly ethnic and elegant character. There is a lovely garden in the courtyard with a good restaurant. It is close to Boudhanath Stupa, yet located on a quiet street, away from city noise and traffic.
The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the mattresses are comfortable and of good quality, though quite firm.
During my stay (beginning of April), there was little sunshine for two days and occasional rain, and in the evenings the shower water was only lukewarm—almost cold—which was quite uncomfortable. However, this is the reality of solar water heating systems without electric boilers. At this price though ($40 per night), one would expect hot water to be available around the clock.

The room and bathroom were very spacious with hot water. Excellent location to see Stupa and walk around area. Excellent restaurant on site with great soups and very nice attentive staff.
This hotel certainly did not live up to its promotional material. There was nothing special to justify the extra cost of this hotel. It had no character. Reception staff did not speak any English and unable to offer any tourist information.
