Located in Ericeira, this lovely villa for $135 per night is a great choice for your next break. 4 storey villa with 4 bathrooms. Fully equipped and with WIFI system, can accommodate 8 people. 3 couples + 2 people: 3 in double beds and 2 in single beds, or 5 people in single beds. All rooms are en suite and include bed linen and bath and face towels. Rooms with lots of sunlight and large areas, living room with dining area for 8 people. A service bathroom on the same floor. It has 2 outdoor leisure spaces where you can be quietly enjoying the conviviality and the sunset, and a wonderful sea view. Located in a quiet and private residential area, very close to the privileged Praia do Sul and Foz do Lizandro Beach. Close to a bread shop, a butcher and a small supermarket. 5 minutes from the center of Ericeira fishing village, where you will find all kinds of traditional shops as well as great restaurants, bars and lots of street entertainment. Possibility to hire small activities like surf lessons, e-bikes, tours or TRANSFER from and to the airport. Portugal area with many places to visit: Nazare, Peniche, Mafra, Sintra, Cascais, Lisbon, etc. The villa accommodates 8 people through 3 Suites (2 located on the 1st floor and 1 located on the 2nd floor): 2 bedrooms on the first floor with double bed; 1 bedroom on 2nd floor with double bed and two single beds. On floor 0: Living room with fireplace, balcony and sea view, in common with a dining room with seating for 8 people; fully equipped kitchen with plenty of outside light, and a service bathroom. On the -1 floor: large lounge, and a space where you can also enjoy outdoor dining, with a barbecue area, and also with total privacy. Excellent villa w / ocean view, located 5 minutes from South and Foz do Lizandro beaches, the center of the quaint Ericeira Village, with great restaurants and shopping. 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, sleeps 8 or 5 in separate beds. This four-story house is located in a quiet residential area. It has three spacious suites (2 on the 2nd floor and 1 on the 3rd floor,) the master suites has a balcony with ocean view. On the 1st floor we have the living room w / fire place and a balcony with ocean view, perfect to enjoy the sunset, dining room accommodating 8 with an expandable table, a half bath and a fully equipped kitchen (stove, refrigerator dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster & coffee machine), the lower level floor is a very spacious recreational area with a table for 8, sliding doors to access a private out door area, perfect for BBQ (built-in charcoal grill) . This lovely house also offers free WIFI and Cable TV.

A vibrant village, with character and the house is located in a quiet part of it, close to the beach. A home away from home

Good location to surrounding areas
Lovely property well furnished with 3 balconies and 2 terraced. Great kitchen and cooking facilities. Could sleep 10 people. Only downside there is no sun loungers. Paulo gives great discounts for surfboards and wetsuits which we made regular use of.

Paulo was an incredible host, very friendly and helpful. He meet us at the house and gave us a run down on all important info on the house and the area. I was especially impressed with the welcome treats he had for us, a huge fruit bowl and lovely Easter breads and really tasty jam made by his mother, also chocolates and juice. As a mother with a small toddler I have always been disappointed with the cots made up for my child to sleep in but Paulo had a really sweet and comfortable cot prepared, it makes a huge difference to see a special effort made for them too!!.
We had all we needed in the house and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Ericeira is amazing and the older boys availed of the surf alot while we and younger kids had great fun body boarding when the waves were not too crazy!!!
The house was lovely, clean and comfortable and would consider going back if we wanted a surf holiday again.

Perfect place
The house have 4 stage, 5 rooms and grilling area. Parking is on the street.
The balconies with view to the ocean is in one sleeping room and the living room.
In each sleeping room is bathroom and toilet.
All rooms and baths and kitchen are very comfortable, clean and nice.
The kitchen also is for cooking that you want. All equipment is there - pans, pots, washing machines.
Really we enjoid this place. On the village are different large shops, where is possible buy meat, fish etc. Some hundred metres far is the butchery, where can buy fresh meat - pork, veal, chicken and handmade sausages.
Paulo, the owner, is also very nice and friendly.
If you need quiet, comfortable and good place for normal price - I recommend this place!

Great Portuguese experience
Our stay at Paulo’s villa was awesome!! Isabell (Paulo’s Mom) prepared several traditional Portuguese meals for us that made us feel we’d been part of Portuguese culture and family life. What a great representation of the area. Would love to stay there again. No complaints at all. Wonderful experience and memories.

Great house near wonderful beaches!!
We rented this property for 5 nights for a family trip to Portugal, there were 6 of us including grandparents and our kids (10 and 13 years old). The house was wonderful. It was spacious, immaculately clean and had every immenity we needed. It looked exactly like pictures on the website.
We rented this house because it was very close to many great beaches (closest is a 10 minute walk to Praia do Sul) and great for doing day trips to the surrounding areas like Sintra to the south and Peniche, Nazaré and Obidos to the north. Having the kids with us it was important to be able to balance days of experiencing culture with beach days.
The house is located in a typical neighbourhood and within a 5 minute walk is a butcher, a mini Mercado and a bakery where they make “the best bread” according to many locals we met in Lisbon, it was amazing. It is a 15 minute walk into the charming surf town of Ericeira which had great cafes and bars. There was also a large Continente grocery store in the town for easily stocking all of our groceries and wine.
Lots of surfing and surf schools in the area as there are great waves for surfing everywhere. For swimming Praia do Sul does have an oceanic pool at low tide but it was to shallow for our kids but great for toddlers. Our kids really enjoyed Praia do Pescadores right in Ericeira where they have constructed a small sea wall to allow for small fishing boats to get in and out of the water which means no waves!!! We spent a great day at the beach and it was only a few minutes drive from the house.
Paulo is such a great host!! He was there to meet us when we arrived, easily accessible throughout our stay to help out and ensure we had everything we needed. There was a great fruit tray and welcome basket with a jar of his mother’s pumpkin jam and other local items such as wine, sardines and chorizo. You can see he takes a lot of time and pride in making sure your stay is wonderful.
We enjoyed many home cooked meals and sunset wine and cocktails overlooking the ocean from the balcony.
Outside of the cultural areas some beaches to explore are Praia do Pescadores, Ribeira de Ilhas and Foz do Lizandro.
Restaurants: Jancada, just at the bottom of the hill is great for a sunset cocktail if you don’t want to make your own. Pizza Mobile was also great for a sunset dinner.
With such a great house in an ideal location it makes it easy to explore the area.

The Vila was large and can accomodate 8. Paulo was nice and was there at are arrival to explain the region and the villa. I Nice basket containing wine, juice and food for us was given by Paulo. Well situated, near the city. But in à calm spot.

Such a lovely house for a family
Wonderful stay mid-July at Paulo's house. Everybody enjoyed their room and the functionality of the house with the main bedroom and living room having nice views. Weather was exceptional and proximity to beaches is perfect. Paulo was a wonderful and very welcoming host; very helpful coming in and going out.

Fabulous house, lovely area, great host!
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Paulo's house and can't say enough how much we enjoyed it!
Paulo met us at his property and showed us around, it is much bigger than it looks from the outside! He is obviously very proud of his house and rightly so, everything was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 children) and beautifully presented. The welcome pack full of Portuguese goodies was such a lovely thoughtful and much appreciated touch.
The house itself was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, with the exception perhaps of extra towels, although there is a washing machine. The house has a massive room on the bottom floor leading to an outside terrace, it is such an impressive space it would be great as a games room or something similar.
The area of Ericeira was beautiful, very typically Portuguese. It was laid back, quiet and full of friendly locals as well as many tourist surfers. The beach was a 10 minute walk from the house and we had a lovely day there watching some playful dolphins!
Also, it was great walking through the town (about 15 minutes walk from house) and discovering lovely restaurants and cafes. We rented a car so could explore the many things on offer around the Lisbon area such as the historical town of Sintra and Lisbon Oceanarium.
Last week was our first time in Portugal and we weren't disappointed, thanks to Paulo's gorgeous house, his hospitality and the beautiful area we stayed in, we will definitely be back!

Paulo was very kind and helpful. The house was beautiful and sparkling clean. It had everything you need for a great stay. The house is mich bigger than I expected. It was perfect for our group of 8. I would love to go and stay at Paulo's house again.

We spent a wonderfull time in Ericeira!
The house is amazing: it is well decorated, equiped and bigger than we imagined through the pictures.
There are two beautiful balconies were you can relax and enjoy the sunset view!
The owner and his wife are very kind and gave us very useful tips for our stay.

Amazing !!!!! fantastic family house
We were a family of one adult ( me) and 3 teenagers , 13 and 18 ...
we arrived and it was a fantastic surprise to see such an amazing house , much bigger than we´d imagine...
Paulo is a fantastic host ... explained all the details of the house with so care and love for his beautiful place ...
he also left some goodies for us , like a bottle of juice for the kids , a bottle of red wine for myself , pasteis de nata ( amazing ) a small cheese , some toasts and 2 wonderfull jams homemade by his mother ( heavenly good )
the kitchen is very well organized and has everything you need to prepare all your meals
the living room is very well decorated and cousy with a big tv and cable tv
the balcony was my favourite space where i could sit and enjoy the sea view ... what a lovely spot !!
my room had a huge bed so confortable and with white and scented linen ...the mattress was perfect ....i felt like a queen there ... better than some 5 star hotels

Welcomed like a Friend!
The house was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen is well equipped, and we could eat at the kitchen table. We mostly had breakfast and lunch in the house, the restaurant choices in Ericeira are very good, and it's difficult to resist the local specialities! From a tea drinkers perspective the kitchen lacks a kettle, but that is all. There is more than enough plates and cutlery for many more people.
The Lounge/Dining area was comfortable and we were able to relax after our sightseeing days and our restaurant evenings. The lounge and the kitchen are on what I would call the ground floor. There is also a huge basement, with the main barbecue just outside.
It is situated in a residential area which for the most part is very quiet, away from the relative activity of the old centre of Ericeira (where most of the restaurants are). Earlier this year (Feb 2015), in the house that is just below Paulo's on the hillside, a Hostel opened. This hostel might be a nuisance if you want a quiet night. The hostel encourages its clients to use the terrace for barbecues, etc, and the noise can go on until the early hours of the morning. From the main bedroom in Paulo's house, one has the impression of trying to sleep over the terrace of a busy restaurant. This noise bothered us three nights of our week.
On our arrival Paulo had left a selection of local goodies, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Paulo and Elisabeth strive to make your stay enjoyable, and we left feeling that we were were saying goodbye to friends.

Lovely house in Ericeira
Really beautyful and clean house very close to the beaches.
We´ve been there for surfing with 8 people and it was big enough for all.
You can leave your boards and wetsuits outside, there´s a high fence.
Every room had its own bathroom and there was a really nice barbecue place.
The whole house was bigger than it seems on the pictures as the others already said.
It was a pleasure to have a landlord like Paolo, he is a really nice and helpful guy and he even asked in between if everything was good.
We will come back for sure!

Nice house, beautiful view
The house has a good location, it is close to both beaches, has small shops around, close to restaurant area near de sul beach.
I'd agree with the previous comment, that the house is exactly as described, also very nice and clean, and looks bigger than appears on photos.
Master bedroom is very nice with a ocean-facing balcony that let in soothing sound of the waves, very relaxing
There is a parking lot near the house.
We really appreciate the Owners to meet us late at night, and supporting us in every way also with the comunication in Porugese.
