From Gerda's friendly welcome when I arrived, to the quaint cottage with all comforts required for an overnight stay, and the serenity and peace of the Voorbaat Valley, everything contributed to a lovely stay.
Everything was in line with my expectations.

We liked everything. No, we loved everything! What a beautiful location - farm atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, bird sounds. We lost our hearts to the gorgeous dog, Jock, who visited and was so well-behaved. We hope to visit again. Two nights were not long enough. No Wi-Fi or cell reception at the cottage - loved that!

We stayed in the Lavender Cottage - a quaint cottage with everything you'll need for a self-catering stay. The farm is beautiful, the dogs are a delight (and ready for a walkabout when you are), and the peace and quiet of the Karoo refreshing. You'll see stars galore at night!
The cottage is comfortable with enough warm bedding for the winter nights.
