We stayed here for 1 night on our honeymoon to get the chance to whalewatch from a boat. The location to the New Harbour where the tours set off was just a 9min walk away which made it incredibly convenient. It is a little further away from restaurants and more of a quiet residential area, but we simply caught a taxi for that which was very reasonably priced. The breakfast included was fresh, staff was very friendly, our room was clean and comfortable and they have good security (key cards, pins, electric gates). It was on the ground floor next to staff rooms (kitchen, laundry) so it was a bit noisier during the day but we didn't really mind and it was perfectly silent during the night and we had a good rest before making our onwards journey the next day. The weather was pretty miserable during our stay, so cannot comment on the cliff path walks nearby. Would recommend for anyone visiting Hermanus!

Breakfast was delicious but delayed and restricted
no bed warmer
aircon did not work and the weather was almost 10-8 degrees at night
TV Facilities work on your own DSTV & Netflix account-the lodge guesthouse does not provide that-please note i called for help and the person on the other line of the phone was very unhospitable
no wardrobe-you hang your clothes on a rail
no tea&coffee station-one would need to keep asking.Cold Milk.
The guest next to me asked if there was any other juice and they were told they only provided one flavor.
